Bingo.

In my opinion, players hate losing too. I think we sometimes tend to over-analyse and over-intellectualise things (i.e., can this coach "motivate" the players, is this player happy, etc). But, once they get out on the field, the only thing pro footy players want to do most of the time is belt the f**k out of the opposition.

We've got a lot of youngsters in the squad this year who have not tasted Premiership success, and I thinking belting the f**k out of opposition teams would be high on their list (especially after missing the finals last year).

I still believe the best coach available for 2014 and beyond, is Daniel Anderson. Currently the referees boss and probably get him on half the price of Bellamy. He has got 2 ordinary NRL teams to the GF and has won titles in the UK Super league. He is a great communicator and well respected and would be a great head coach to develop the young talent coming through.

Very underrated coach, I would not be upset if the Saints got him for 2014

But it wasn't just last year, it was from the middle of the previous year, from leading the comp to also rans in a matter of weeks! Under sir Wayne!

Just saying, I am not prepared to point all figures at Price just on last years effort!

under sir Wayne - who was already leaving therefore had no intentions to recruit for the squad in 2012... Bennett had three years to deliver and he did so within 2.. and built a squad solely for this purpose.. as was evident that the team was starting to decline towards the end of the third season. if he was there for 5 years he would have built a squad for that ...and so on...

Bennett gave Price more than enough notice that he woud be taking the reins but alas Price failed to recruit properly and was left with an aging half, and not enough depth in key backline positions...
