Aitkens rumours are growing by the hour, and his position (on the right) was very ably filled by Lomax. Aitkens switch to the left was a failure, however, Lafai will come back into that position, and there are no rumours of Lafai being moved on. So he will slot back there on his return.

Therefore, do we leave Lomax at centre? Or is now the issue at fullback, where Dufty doesn't seen to be the right choice?
Do we move Lomax there which solves Fullback, but creates a centre issue or leave hin at centre which creates a fullback problem.

We have signed a gun fullback but he is young and McGregor will keep him away from NRL level.

Lets also not try to fit square pegs in round holes or sign journeynen just to cover.

I see Lomax as our long term fullback. I think he will be a marquee player. I think centre should be an easier position to fill than fullback. I would be targeting Walker as one of my centres and be on the look out for another good one.

Yes I have believed that Lomax would be our long term fullback for more than a year now. If the rumour of an Aitken for Walker trade actually happens, we have solved our centre issues for this season at least. Once Lafai returns, Mary will have him move straight back into the left centre position.

Prior to that, I'd love to see Field being given a go at left centre. His good passing game and extra accelleraton may just be the compensation we need if Dufty is dropped to reserve grade again. The only issue will be Field's defence which has shown signs of improvement of late.

June slipping by fast soon be December and we can salvitate about our team 2020. That is if we sign some improvers can't see it happening fellas.

It would be embarrassing if any of these peeps could feel shame. Actually wanting Walker in the side? The guys had two decent seasons in the last 6 years and is a known scumbag.

It is quite clear to me that if they signed RCG to replace JDB, then they would have to make provision at the end of the season for the circumstance that JDB is found not quilty. They can do this by cutting away the dead wood and leaving one spot open for JDB in the salary cap. E.G.:
Let Latimore, Allgood and Graham go and replace them with Blacker and a young prop. We now have room for RCG and De Belin or a replacement forward in 2020.

Our Pathways system is great for the juniors. Just ask Manly and Warriors with Garrick and Herbert. Both doing well in NRL. Robson will kill it for Cows next season. Pity our own club cannot capitalise on the Pathways system in place because they have a clown as head coache.

What has Garrick & Herbert done so great this year. Garrick apart from fall over the line when in the clear from a pass. Herbert - Warriors won less games than we have.
