Geez surely you jest , I have seen a few remarks on here in different threads about how well we played on Friday ,I went to the game and can tell you ,we didn't, we were pretty ordinary and so were the Broncos to be honest ,so I wouldn't be using that as a yardstick to deduce that we will be a "shoe-in" against a side who have won their last 7 games.

i was there also. we defended reasonably well mate, broncos scored 90 points the last 2 weeks and only beat us by 12. dugan couldn't catch a cold on a minus 10 degree day. he cost us 12 points.

Yeah I get your point ,but IMHO the Broncos were a fair bit off the pace so it made us look ok , we just can't get the detail right ,and thing was if wasn't Dugan Fing UP it would've been one of the others.
I will say this though ,I have been critical of Mann but glad I got see him live ,I know he made a couple of blunders ,but he certainly is an effort player and he doesn't mind getting on both sides of the field also,completely changed my opinion of him .
If a few of the other players put in the effort he does we might be a shot.

Unfortunately manly will beat the warriors because the warriors just don't care. So you'd have to be praying for tigers to beat cowboys which is more realistic.

I never have a good feeling going into a game against the Dogs. But if we do win, I'm actually hopeful now that I know we can't play the Eels in week 1 that we might even get to week 2 of the finals

I never have a good feeling going into a game against the Dogs. But if we do win, I'm actually hopeful now that I know we can't play the Eels in week 1 that we might even get to week 2 of the finals

Seriously if we are as good as we look on paper and all the stats backing up our potential then surely a must win game against a team that has nothing to play for is a mere certainty.. If we don't win its a disaster of massive proportion and simply put we weren't good enough which I'm certain won't be the case.. We are dead set WINX ODDS $1.01..

Mickey I don't bet, it just makes a frustrating nerve-wrecking game even harder to watch. I generally don't sit down when I watch the dragons play. I stand in the corner of the room screaming at the air. Its usually something like"No No McCroan!!! Why!!!
No lafai!! Hold the ball!!! No Dugan!! Go to Sharks already! Go Thommo!!! Go Dufty!!! Go Vaughany! Noooo!!!"
I am not confident against Dogs. I'll be standing in the corner on fathers day with my kids shaking their heads......
