Dragons trying to move in

Dragons Support Women In League

The St.George Bank Dragons will hold a champagne breakfast next week to launch an inaugural membership-based business networking group for women in the Dragons key communities - the St George and Sutherland Shire and Illawarra region.

http://www.dragons.com.au/news/static/article_1779.asp
Apart from the fact they already do enough to support women in league (Barrett, Gasnier, Brown... ;-) ) since when has the Sutherland Shire been a key community of the Dragons? Get out you pricks!

Cronulla did try and muscle in on St George during the Super League affair.

You cant deny that Saints have a shite load of supporters in Sutherland. It's not just the old farts either. There are plenty of younguns flying the flag down there.

The next decade or two should be interesting. The Sharks have always been a geographical anomaly but know with Saints to the North and the South we are in a really good position to go in for the kill.

As the old Dragon Army song goes:

"St George here, St George there, St George every f**king where tra la la la la"

This person - and I use that term loosely - got on at Hurstville on Tuesday morning and sat next to me

It had the worst stench
It was in the morning and she looked like she'd just showered, so it couldnt be uncleanliness

I think it was just a revolting smell seeping out of every pore on her body
I was so repulsed I stood up, glared at it, and moved

Absolutely revolting, as a Shire resident I should have had the right to tell her to get off the train immediately. Is basic hygience too difficult for them?

oh dear this makes me laugh
shire scum
thinking they own the train lines

if you want smell stench go to any of the stations from como to waterfall to cronulla

there are more derrelicts in the shire both young and old than what there are in the st george area

You want to know what's really scary? Catch the 6:08pm express home from Central.

It stops at Hurstville to let off the grubby 'engrish is my fifth language' element, then Sutherland where all the babes and well dressed blokes get off. What's left looks like its headed straight for Wollongong Centrelink.

Genuinely frightening...

It's funny though. You can usually pick who is going to get off at Hurstville and who is likely to stay on til Sutherland.

On a side note, I love those express trains, they sure beat suburban trains.

Yep. Even though it still has to stop at Hurstville, one stop is a lot better than having to stop at Rockdale, Kogarah, Mortdale, etc.

Instead of worrying who might get on and stab you for a couple of dollars, you can sit back, watch the scenery go by and chuckle quietly to yourself...

What's left after the normal-looking employed passengers get off at Sutherland is going to Helensburgh at least. If anyone wanted to go to Cronulla or Engadine, they'd have to change at Sutherland.

You've got no f*cking brains at all, have you?

Yeah, let's not forget the scenery in ST G/Ill area either. There's the beautiful steel works and Pt Kembla smoke stack.

Oh Yeah, any one surfed Brighton Beach lately ? A beautiful place, Gods own paradise.....not.

Give me the Shire anyday.

what a f***en shithole that st george area is

i hate it when i have to go to the train to work and we have to pick up passengers from f***in mortdale all the way into the city

from mortdale to sydenham all these disease-ravaged scum specimen jump on the train
luckily on the way in all the seats get taken by como-oatley so they have to stand

but what really pisses me off is on the way home, all these dogs, the rabble from those disgusting suburbs or housing projects from the wrong side of the bridge dont seem to understand that they should stand for shire residents! they actually sit on the seats! i cant believe it!! it should be marked on their tickets - STANDING TICKET ONLY

the next time i have one of these lower class mongrels sit down next to me or in a seat intended for my good self i'm going to cause a scene

f**k theyre shockers
they should have to walk into the city or get shipped on freight trains

goddamn low lifes

SS that is just plain disgusting and discriminatory, what makes you think that you have any more rights than the person next to you? The sad thing in all of this is, you probably do think you are superior to others with a lower socio-economic status than you and I. I have the best of both worlds, I live in the Sutherland Shire in a 4 story, 4 garaged etc mansion and support the best team in league...saints. The fact is that you will never be able to know if I am telling you the truth, but if I treated people on the sole basis of thier income or wealth, you'd be my dog.

Have a winge  . The fact is around Hurstville etc and beyond its a nighymare, they shouldnt sit down due to the fact they smell, people shouldnt be subjected to their awful stench, thats why there are other services for them. They can go on their old trains and stink em up heaps, we will have the Tangara's which we keep in perfect condition.

Yes, your own players train etc here, other clubs also do so, our town was where Australia virtually started but yea, its a s**thole  .

So the 40,000+ years of inhabitance before Cook set foot in The Shire counts for nothing??

Discovering the Shire - I'd venture to say that the Sandwich Isles were preferable for the Captain after Kurnell!!

Cheers,
Ben S.
