So we have back up goal kickers in Marshall
and Quinlan. Widdop as captain should bear this in mind as sometimes he misses sitters.
I would rate the Broncos about the same as the Dogs so if our guys do not fire and capitulate on their home ground it will be very disappointing.

We MIGHT actually win this one. My heart says we can do it, and I would love to see Leilua and Host put in big games.

But we are still weak. If Bennett is switched on, then Boyd and Roberts will have a field day running at our left edge, Aitken and Mann may get picked apart. Still putting a lot of reliance on Packer in the middle as well.

Win or lose, there is a sure bet to come from this, I've got $100 on the worlds 'last year's grand finalists' and 'a number of players out' being spoken by Mary in the press conference.

Mc Gregor will say we had seven forwards and two backs unavailable so it was a a good effort for our D in restricting them to 30 points given that we were giving a couple of young blokes a go.
Technically we scored four tries but unfortunately we were only awarded one by the referee. Benji finished the game so that augurs well for the future and we can look forward to Dugan, Frizzell and Thompson coming back next week. Dufty and Hutchison played well for the Cutters who are leading the comp.

IMO we will at most get 1 shot at goal to go 2 - 0 up.
If Bronco's score first as I suspect they will and go 6 - 0 up we will only need a goal kicker if we score a try.
So elementary my dear Watson nothing to worry about we don't need one.
