Mate honestly don't insult people. Is this a gee up? You can't seriously be that one eyed. We have nothing. Soft defence, poor attitude, no structure, no game plan, no class, no size, no aggression, no passion, no captain (creagh has gone missing badly).

Bit harsh, the blokes have been trying (most of them), and theyve been trying since Bennett left in 2011, thats how we have hung in for so many games, but without direction its a complete waste of their energy & passion, but if we dont have a gameplan they can believe in soon, that fire will fade.

They are so F....n predictable too much sideways movement, the pass is thrown way before the line all the time with the added bonus of our centres being so pedestrian it makes it very easy for the defence to slide.FFS B moz is the only one threatening & it is only ever from dummy half.Merrin & KIng deserve a mention as well.I'm not looking forward to the near performances on this effort.Even though I don't like him Stuart has shown what a decent coach can do with the eels so Doust FFS get Sheens in now.

Pretty clear that our confidence in attack is completely shot - it shows. We look great in the middle of the park, but once we get in the oppositition's 20 we look completely lost.

As much as I <3 Sowie and Fien for services rendered in the past; they must shoulder 90% of the blame. Sowie I hold hope for, I thought he varied it up a bit tonight, but Fien just looks out of his depth - the dumb penalty to disallow a try was icing on the cake...

10% better in our execution we would have romped it home.

Wouldas, shouldas.

IMO the focus should be on 2014. The boys have heart, they have courage, but unfortunately, they don't have the tactics, or the direction at the moment.

Absolutley gutted by the performance and the really depressing thing is Brisbane were really poor tonight, how we can have 60% of posession at halftime and only be level with them is beyond me, not to mention they were a man down for 10 minutes.

:lol::lol:

it's gotta be a gee up, just keep thinking the other team is poor, despite the fact you had alot of things go your way especially in the first half and the best you could do was score a single try

Ahhh yeah that's kinda the point we did have plenty of calls go our way yes, Brisbane were no world beaters tonight ...and we still lost which implies we were very poor tonight more or less putting emphasis on how bad things could of been had we of played a very good team tonight i.e South, Cowboys.

I cannot believe this garbage from the jaded ones saying that the Broncos played like arse. We could've held the Storm to single digits with that defense tonight.

I give full credit to Broncos tonight and congratulate the fans for the win, the better team won no doubt.

But I do believe your defence was made to look better because our attack was so bad, perhaps we will have to wait next week and see how you go against the Roosters to know for sure.

I have to respectfully disagree. While your attack was definitely woeful, the numbers speak for themselves. You can't have that much ball in the opposition 20 and not put on at least 2 trys against a team with even average defense. Your attack definitely contributed to your low amount of points, but it would be disingenious to suggest that it was all to do with the Dragons shit attack and nothing to do with a class defense.

In Rugby League, pressure is everything and we had plenty piled on us tonight.

I saw the game in parts but was working. I need to see the replay to understand the flow and see the detail. But it looks like the forwards are building really well. Dummy half work is good. There is quite a lot to like actually.

But our halves are terrible. The kicking game is really poor. Our centres offer very little. I'd take a serious look at Charlie Runciman. We need speed. Coops plays like a forward so move him there if need be. But he can't stifle Morris, our best attacking weapon.

Fien is as uselss as tits on a bull. Give Drinkwater a shot but don't expect miracles. And while I am a huge supporter of Beale, he just doesn't have the size or the zing at fullback. Maybe centre is a better option. We could strengthen a weakness.

Then bring in one (which one?) of the brilliant young fullbacks. We would be quicker across the park and much less predictable. 2013 is obviously a rebuilding year so let's start by dropping the old blokes and getting some fresh blood in there.

Morris is the only attacking light currently we need two or three others to back him up. We are passing the ball around like a bunch of airy fairies without really asking many tough questions of the defense.

Except for the forwards. They are hitting it up hard. Throw in some support and keep playing direct and there is some juice in that fruit. Dummy half play looks smart.

Drinkwater to half. Cooper replaced by someone fast. Hopefully Runciman. Beale to right centre with Cummins to fullback. Much quicker, younger, more dangerous backline. Sure defensively we may get caught out. But when you only score one (at most two) tries per game who cares how good your defence is?

I just don't understand how a coach can have such a long apprenticeship, finally get his crack at first grade, & show he has absolutely no idea what he's doing.

This is diabolical and I really believe we will finish with the wooden spoon. I can't see another team we can beat at present.

And thats all Priors and Ah Mau's fault is it. fmd, that'll do me.

Broncos were gutsy some, but I don't think we questioned them much despite all the possession. We're predictable.
You are correct.Apart from Fien costing us 2 tries ,we were so predictable and never looked like scoring. We had the Broncos on toast and should have been up by 20 at HT.
They showed guts ,we don't an x-factor who can be the gamebreaker.

So when will Doust make the decision to sack Price? I can recall Brown starting the year at 0-4 but Turning things around but can't see this happening under Price with the current roster.

I'd love to know if Price or Doust expected a different result after the first two games. I'm not surprised and expected to be playing as we have because we have not addressed any of the issues that plagued the team last year. Also I am of the belief that not all good assistant coaches can step up and become a first grade coach. Look at Kearney - had no idea and thought he could play the Storm style of footy with a poor roster. I've heard many insiders say Price can coach but I'm sorry he can't coach at the first grade level. He's proven that now.

Everyone keeps saying our fowards are OK... Well sure they are not going "too" bad but I still think they lack as much creativity as our halves. Frizzel is being wasted and is being forced to play like a prop, Harrison has not been seen because we have no halves that know how to use him, creagh has been very very poor. Just hits it up and runs the same predictable line. Why doesn't he try and shrug players off, get aggressive and try and off load? He offers nothing and as captain that's a big problem. Merrin is our only forward that can cause trouble. Rein looks like a guy with zero confidence. He's lost. What happened to his running game and his cunning dummy half play?? It's like he's scared shitless!

I can't see a way out of this. But we need a new coach and Fien to get axe... Just as a starting point.

Sums it up really. I thought when he came in that our attack would actually improve from the Bennett era. I now feel like a naive idiot.
