Dream second row pairing = Lawrence and Sironen

Our coach has named these two out of form players in our starting backrow. Not even the Sheenius would select a team with such stupidity.

Please let this season end quickly.

That gump Taylor has signed his own death warrant.

Wooden spoon is beckoning & we must find a ruthless & savvy coach for '16 & beyond.

And how are we paying for this new coach? With buttons?

Taylor is here for three years. I don't necessarily think what he is doing is healthy for the team at the minute, but don't fool yourself into thinking he's going anywhere.

I think Lawrence might surprise some by being perfectly fine in the second row. More interestingly Galloway has been dropped to the bench, Sue is starting prop and a 6 man bench has been named.

We really don't have better options. I would rather we persist with Sironen and give Lawrence a shot in the back row.
Sue would be better than either of these players but apart from Woods and Tupau we have no grunt up the middle, he needs to stay there.

I'm more concerned about our backline. Both our centres have less than 5 games at FG at centre between them. Unless Tedesco has a blinder we will score 1 try maximum.

Would rather Sue & Taupau on the edges, Halatau middle and those two gronks killing time in NSW Cup

Ava starting prop with Galloway and Lodge off the bench. Play Lawrence as the bench utility/back rower I guess because no matter what I know he will always be in the 17 getting outpaced pensioners and stepped by props after planting his feet

I like it. I think Sue and Taupau are better suited playing up the middle. I also think that Lawrence and Sirro deserve the edge second rower spots.

I am just as concerned for our centres....Taylor and James are going to cause heaps of problems for them. That pair are big and our little back line are going to struggle against them.

It surely is the last throw of the dice for Lawrence,if he can not make a go of it in the back row then his NRL days should be behind him.

I think we should give him a chance. If he doesn't cut it then I agree that his NRL days are probably over.

Sironen has been totally useless & Taylor hasn't got the cahoonas to send son of Paul to Fletcher's team where he currently belongs.

Galloway doesn't ever deserve to start. Its preferable that he comes of bench although his pathetic lack of effort recently warrants him also playing under Fletcher.

Although Rowdy has drawbacks as a centre I can handle his selection as 2nd rower as at least rowdy has integrity & will have a dig in contrast to the pair of bludgers Siro & the cream puff from the shire.

If titans turn up I can't c us winning this.We will particularly struggle with Taylor & James on edges & the speed of Roberts.

I don't know about that necessarily. Hoeter looks pretty capable defensively.

I love that Lawrence is in the back row. He will be very good there. Better than Sironen.

I don't think much of Taylor as a coach just yet, but this move is long overdue.

As a WT fan i have been waiting 10 seasons for Keith to step up and dominate opposition packs,it has never happened and never will.Sironen it appears is heading down the same road as Keith, where he will never reach or justify the hype bestowed upon him.

I totally agree Charlatan, I actually quite like Hoeter in both attack and defence. I guess my comments relating to a wide running Taylor and James is they will be running at both Brooks and Moses and no doubt these two will have some problems with them due to their size....this may draw in Hoeter and Nofo and as we have seen, you leave Roberts unmarked and he will score every time.

All hypothetical I know and I hope all players step up but but a few weeks ago I was counting this game as a certainty, now I am far less confident.

Lawrence was very good tonight

I agree. I really liked Lawrence's play out there tonight. I think he lacks that elusiveness for the centres now but he can play well in the backrow.

I am not really that concerned with our backrow. I think we have heaps of options there that can compete with the top teams.

Its our outside backs that are the problem. Get them right and hopefully Brooks and Moses kick on and then we are a decent team. Robbie or Cherrington possibly need to improve but that is like a minor issue.

I would just focus on our outside backs.

Of course JT is a terrible coach and that is the real issue at the moment but he may change although I feel its unlikely. I wish we had kept Potter though.

His best game in about 3 years. More of that from him and the left second row is his for the next 18 months.
