Dream Theater's new songs.

[Non Terminator]

I was able to finally hear two of Dream Theater's new songs from the album Black Clouds and Silver Linings, and I'm happy to finally say I'm happy with something I've heard from what has so far been a bit of a quiet year for music.

And for the usual DT record, the songs are as usual quite lengthy. A Nightmare To Remember is about 15 minutes, whilst A Rite Of Passage clocks in at around 8 and a half. :lol:

I'm happy, I don't mind it.

Talented guys. Extremely talented. However, nothing from their catalogue ever appealed to me.

I love DT, easily my favourite band atm. They've consistently produced outstanding material their whole careers imo, cannot wait for the new album.

Can't wait. Brilliant band.
Hope they come back to Australia this tour and the recession doesn't scare 'em off as it seems to with Metallica.
