No not at all, I think its a top drop and usually enjoy a few pints of it when I call into the brewery or the kent.

If it is controlled drinking and not a binge, what difference does it make if someone is with you or not?

drinking is normaly a social thing, drinking by youself for the sake of drinking, according to me, is not a good thing imo

That's exactly what we're saying. However, if it's one or two beers after work to relax, or just as a refresher, it isn't sad and pathetic.

always got a bottle laying around somewhere, so if i have a sh*t day i can have a couple over dinner to take the edge off... i dont consider that pathetic, drinking alone to get wasted is but a couple after work, over dinner etc is fine imo

i drink either vodka & orange or vodka & raspberry- in a high ball so i cant taste the vodka lol

The only times i'll drink alone are on a Friday night watching the footy at my place, or over dinner. I don't make a big habit of it though - i much prefer to go out when im drinking (although, living so far out of town - 25ks to be precise makes it an expensive night out including the cab ride home!)
