that is whats wrong with our game ..... right there !!

What's wrong with our game is that we're bitching about one decision (that was technically correct) when we could be praising the game from last night - the expansive play, some magnificent long passing, a few great kicks (JAC for Slater, Milf for himself), big hits and some pure speed - how good was Jimmy the Jet chasing JAC?

I keep hearing about how from now on anybody who drops the ball should just kick it after it bounces, but it doesn’t work that way. Slater was allowed to play on because he dropped it with the intention of kicking it which in turn makes it a drop kick, he didn’t drop it then decide to kick because he dropped it.

I loved the part where he thinks it's a non issue because it's the Broncos..

Fair point because nobody cares about them, but don't act like they are the only club to receive bullshit calls against them. Most of the time those calls go your way ffs

Two things, it was correct decision by the rule book. Don’t like it change the rule book, secondly let’s talk about the incredible other tries that were scored and how entertaining the game was. Games like that are what will get people paying their hard earned to attend.

Same way your club gets a bullshit penalty in golden point to win a game. f**king who knows?

And please don't call him a future immortal. It's not a foregone conclusion yet. So many things could get in the way. He could be suspended for this entire year for trying to kick someone lying on the ground, a nuclear holocaust, anything. We live in hope.

Ah SBD82, trust you to find the good in a nuclear apocalypse. Putin and Trump may stop Billy yet!

Michael Ennis “kicked” a similar one when playing for the Knights in around 2007.

Common sense was occurred on that particular Friday night and the video ref ruled that it was a no try, the same thing should have happened last night.

This sets a ridiculous precedent and sides will now be trying similar tactics.

It’s always been the case you can drop kick the ball anywhere on the field. The fact the refs have usually got the rule wrong in the past is why it hasn’t been used, that and the fact neither the players, coaches or commentators know the rules very well lol. Now they’ve got it right we will probably will see it again, doesn’t really give any advantage though to do it so probably not likely.

The NRL and the refs boss have come out and said it’s was correct. Can we stop all the crying now?

We might start seeing the return of the dribble attacking play
