I was quick to make a judgement on Reynolds but got that all wrong so will be reserving by judgement until more is know.

But as the saying goes - when there is smoke there is fire. Disturbing to read that he had potentially assaulted his heavily pregnant partner

The thing with Reynolds is it was essentially he said she said although the video didn't make him look great but that was clearly when he was at breaking point and extenuating circumstances were revealed as the case went on.

The media generally doesn't do something as in depth as they have done for Burgess without believing they have the correct story. They must feel they have some good oil on this.

Massive investigation regarding former Rabbitohs forward Sam Burgess. Full of major allegations, all denied by his lawyer.

Allegations include prescription drug abuse, domestic violence, medical malpractice by a treating doctor and cover ups by others, among many more.

Reminder: tread carefully. This thread will be monitored. The reports remain allegations and any implication of guilt or potentially defamatory comments will be removed and further action considered.

I noted that the journalist stated that it is the FIRST part of the story. I would assume they will release the second part tomorrow.....one day before the Souths game. That is absolute proof that the paper is STILL sitting on the story (part of it anyway).

Nobody would deny that dv is absolutely abhorrent. If these allegations are true, a few people will be going down and no complaints would come from me. Same with the allegations about the actions of the club doctor.

But, this Chris Garry is an absolute knob of the highest order. If he expects us to believe that his paper has not sat on this story, then he is a deluded fool. The reposts are serious and should be dealt with but the papers have sure as hell taken advantage of the story and reported it at a time that suits them.
