Dugan was our speed hum he slowed things down. If it wasn’t his injuries after each tackle stop start style of running he stifled any attack. Good riddance.
I agree that Dugan was where the ball went to die

I don’t think good riddance but I am happy he found another club so we could move onto a better style of play

Amazing that Dugan was once like dufty when he played for the raiders

Way Too big now

Let’s just say that Dufty is a better fullback than Dugan.
They are both better fullbacks than Moylan.

If I was Flanagan I would be very disappointed in Moylan.
His lack of effort in defence was noticeable, especially in the McInnes try, how does a hooker give a fullback a ten metre head start, and beat him to the line?

It wasn’t the only time either, he gave up a lot of times in defence, contrast that to Aitken in the last minute, our JDB running 30 metres from marker to cover an inside ball.
It’s all about effort, and Moylan just didn’t put any on at all a lot of the time.

Something is up with Moylan
I can’t believe he is still not at the panthers, that club is his soul.

It would be like dufty playing with the roosters,

I think he won’t be at the sharks long, he misses the comradeship with his mates at panthers big time

And playing with wankers like Fifita. Gal. and Wade Graham I am told irks him no end

I hope he finds his way. He is just a kid

Dunno, I put him in the same category as players like Hayne and Tedesco.
They are fantastic when the team is on top, but are never giving maximum effort when things get tough, they are never go to dig the team out of a hole.

The culture that is at the sharks is not one that suits a young guy from the foothills

Moylan. Cartwright. Cleary were the Panthers.

Playing for Sharks ain’t gonna work I am afraid, I find it mind boggling how the panthers fell apart but they are still going ok playing wise

Don’t compare Dufty to Dugan. Duf has never been found drunk nor acting stupid.

True red v
They used to say dufty was not tough enough but seeing him close up after the game last night, being interviewed with Cam McInnes, he looks the goods to me

Looks like an Irish street kid, tough, street smart, a fighter if he had to be, afraid of nothing

And can run like the wind, has a 6th sense of where the gaps are, doesn’t even need to look, just senses them ....and whoooshka

A new hero and a local junior, can’t be better than that. Go Matty!!

Could be playing injured but if not - pretty gutless performance actually.

Dugan is an outright centre and a pretty good one. He’s shown before and again last night he can pass through the line, but not link or ball play like fullbacks need to. It’s the right position for him.

In saying that, the money he wanted as a centre is better off being spent on Lomax in a few years- if he hits his potential, he will be a world class player and will leave Dugan well behind in terms of status as a centre.

Chalk and Cheese really! Duff can find a hole with lightning acceleration & seems to create something out of nothing. Duges is just power & often seems to create nothing out of something cause he hogs the ball.
Matt will keep improving and get better, whilst Josh's career has peaked and will probably drop away at the Sharkies. I am so glad we have Matt Dufty....he is a weapon!

Know it’s early days for Dufty but he’s won 9 out of 13 matches as a our FB. That’s around 70% success rate.

Duges was way below 50% as our fullback.

That’s the only stat that matters to me.

Dufty is electric. He's going to have bad games in the wet, getting off his line, he'll get dragged into touch.
But when he does, remember what he can do on a dry track in an open game. He created that 1st try from absolutely nothing with pure speed and elusiveness. Love him.

My grandma outplayed Moylan tonight. She's been dead for 5 years.
Yes I said the same thing on our game comments last night ...he looks totally lost gun shy and dis interested at Cronulla ...hes playing with Zero confidence and at times looks like he wants to be elsewhere...his attitude at times reminds me of Jarryd Haynes....seems to be a bad buy for Cronulla atm...for their sake I hope Im wrong

Really? The only stat?

Some other fullback winning percentages:
Slater - 70%
Trbojevic - 45%
Tedesco - 36%
Tuivasa-Sheck - 60%
Ponga - 43%
Lockyer - 66%

So by your stat that matters, Dufty is equaled only by Slater, and by far better than all those others?

Interestingly, Thurston has a 56% win rate.

Point is, it’s far from the only stat that matters...
