In amongst all the hoopla about Bird and Ise one thing I am really wanting to know is how is Doom going?

Have not heard a thing about him all year.

And, IMHO, he leaves them BOTH for dead. In fact, I'd say he's potentially the best backrower in our club.

What's the word?

Yea, I too liked his form in the few games he played. When missed tackles were up (or down for that matter) he seemed to be on target.

I dont know how he is going this year, but last year wasnt much different for him in PL. Looked like just another number out there.
then when he went to firsts, he was fuggin outstanding. I do believe he played 5/8 in one game?
I just hope, this guy is not being left to see what happens.
Too much talent & youth to rely on time & his own workings.

i.e. Coaching staff, step up. he is too good to be playing reserve in PL.

I hope he can find his way back in the 1st grade he looked good.

He most certainly did vs. Brisbane at Suncorp last year when Paul Gallen was a late withdrawl through injury.

I spoke to him at a meet the players day at Engadine and I asked how the neck was? he told me there where no worries with it and it was just a matter of working his way back into first grade. A really nice young bloke I hope he gets back there soon.

I met him today. seems really nice. he basically told me te same thing sharkie1973 said, its just a matter of him working back into first grade.
I met him at this footy clinic my nephew attends in the holidays, and we got to watch the boys train.
it was interesting
some of the premier leagueplayers were training with the team, and all seemed to be working hard. though lomu did look very disinterested. didnt say much, and really didnt participate much.
and peachey seems happier then ever, i remmeber last year at a player signing where peach was very distant and a tad rude, but today was having a ball with the kids and was very friendly with the parents.

I know ive sort of gone off topic, but i thought it was very interesting to note. and just thought some of you just might like to know.

Please also remember that the game now is a 17 man side not like the old days, Bench players need to have impact and Dumas certainly adds that dimension more so than when starting. He works hard but now he comes on at crucial times and continues to add some starch.

Don't bag Lomu he has been playing well and taking leadership roles. Come on down on Saturday and watch them play at Henson before heading off to Toyota it is only $7 and worth the admission for the day out.

I thought Newton fell out of favour and wasn't re-signed rather than an injury. I liked the bloke. Was an axe and managed to whip up a huge suspension record in something like 5 games.

Dumas, I can't wait for him to replace Bird.
