Dylan Brown is overrated

I can watch the grand final. But it's a terrible game. So many points so a goal isn't that exciting compared to say a goal in football or a try in league. Its messy and no real set moves and the skills are limited. League is far more chess like. Pieces moving around but staying in position and planning moves. That gives viewers talking points and makes them engage even more. A great set move leading to a try or goal can be great to watch 100 x

It's funny, I've got mates who are Union fans who say the exact same thing except switch the sports.
They think League is boring (five hitups without a contest for the ball and then kick) but say Union is very technical and more free-flowing.

I think they're f**king nuts.

I’ve got sports I prefer but I don’t get peoples hatred of sports.

I'm not usually about hating the sport itself, but more the administration or fans of certain sports.
A game is a game, and I don't have to watch it if I don't like it, but I understand that others do like it.

The carry on by some of the admins and fans of certain sports are just ridiculous (and that includes League fans as well).

I was talkkng about AFL. Union is OK. Depends if it's a good game or not.

Say what you will about watching professionals but the thing with AFL is it’s actually really good game to play

I found it easy to play when I lived in Vic being a tall skinny prick, you just can't tackle the merkins, it's called a trip. I still follow my team, Geelong as I lived near there but really don't watch them very much anymore.

The sport is stupid and hard to watch, to the point where I cannot watch it at all.
However, it's not actually the sport itself that I don't like as much as the culture and its fans and their inferiority complex. However, that's just a reflection on Victorians in general tbh.

This might be an unpopular take but Dylan Brown isn’t doing anything wrong. If we put the options in his contract to say he can look around then he has every right to try and get the best deal for himself. If his manager isn’t trying to get the best deal for his client then he’s not doing his job. Is it annoying as **** as a fan? Absolutely, but I don’t agree with the takes that he owes us anything. He has every right to do what’s best for himself. Let’s not act like the club doesn’t do the same thing. Look at how the management allowed longtime stalwarts Gutherson, Sivo and RCG to walk away when it suited their interests. I’ll be annoyed too if it turns into a circus but it’s the clubs fault for putting itself in this position. We’re just coming across as salty Eels fans by directing our anger towards Dylan.
