Seriously , Everyone can see it except McGregor , We need 4 Forwards on the bench, at this rate will be lucky to have any gas left in a few weeks time.
At worst and would be a wise decision , Lomax to center and Aitken on the bench, he can play second row, center and wing

No worries didn't mean to offend.
Host and Sims inj.
Not pretty but we'll take it..
no offense taken, but had we had another forward on or if Lomax come on a little earlier with Aitken going into second row it would have taken some heat of the players, seriously I dont think Frizel and a few of our forwards will walk tomorrow , this is just crazy from the coach

Wow. Great gutsy win. Can’t ignore the fact that Norman stood up and was counted for the second time in as many weeks.

All in all it was a tough night in the office and taking nothing away from the win I’m also fear early cracks or signs of vulnerability in our forwards. To add to our injured, I suspect Tyson was rushed back early and only played through the pain due to his enormous heart. I hope I’m wrong. Latimore seems to me to be getting progressively more ploddy. (If that’s at all possible) Graham all heart but at times looks busted. Lawrie struggles with post contact metres and if Vaughan goes down at any stage we will really struggle.

Anyway it’s a win and if there’s any positives to draw from the latest injuries it will be the fact that Mary will be forced to give the likes of Kerr and Lucky more first grade experience which hopefully only goes to strengthen our overall depth.

That is sooo sooo negative IMHO ! Although I do agree regarding Latimore , surely Kerr can at least do the same , although we at least know he is much quicker than Latimore.

Just enjoy the win .
Fair diinkum.
Not so sure. We only just win but we were the much better team. Last week Hunt had a blinder, this week Norman was good. When they both put it together we will be extremely hard to beat. Agree, Aitken to the bench and Lomax to start.

I see your point but I’m surprised with how negative you’ve described the post. After rereading it I concede I haven’t mentioned a lot of the good areas, ie our defensive efforts especially in the forwards lead by McInnes and great efforts by Lafai and plenty of others. I was too harsh on Graham (who played with his usual vigour) and Lawrie but I was keeping in the theme of the thread about our dreaded end of season burnouts. I’ve long thought we need another player (now possibly two) to assist Vaughan hitting the advantage line. I also am pretty sure the pace and heat played its part as both sides looked lethargic.

True.I'd like to see the meterage, tackles etc statistics on the match though.Wasn't a great game from both sides but a win is a win.It sure does look like we need a forward ( preferably a front rower ) with the debillen money but surely now is the time to give Kerr some game time , for at least NRL experience. From last nights game i couldn't see anything that Latimore did that Kerr couldn't.

Dont worry about that, Ive enjoyed it, Just stating the Obvious mate
Interesting how some decide to jump on your original and very succinct post re the bench.
I wonder if we had of lost (as that was entirely possible as they had a failed FG attempts before us) if people would say “enjoy the narrow loss” or would they also be posting things that would make obvious and simple improvements to our team?
“Enjoy the win” well IMO nothing much to enjoy other than Norman kicking the FG
IMO it is well and truly a case of “thank your lucky stars”, take the 2 points and get to training to sort out why we are playing shit football and how we improve the simplest of things that we constantly get wrong.
If enjoy the win means the same as enjoyed the game then some people are very easily pleased.
Your post was relevant, well meaning and not deserving of the criticism it received

I'd go Aitken off the bench for Leilua - Leilua is not match fit and will only be a drag on the forward pack. Aitken has again shown he is still does not know how to defend at right centre. but may be a good ball runner from the backrow. This idea would be best tested in short stints from the bench.

Hunt's poor defence led to the try not Aitken's.
Hunt is a liability in defence and therefore adds to the confusion on the right side.
This is not intended to diminish Aitken's own deficiencies but in an effort to be objective in our critique of things, I thought it fair to point this out.
