Early tip: Sandow won't see out his contract

Sandow has defended as well as any halfback the previous four weeks:

52 tackles 6 missed 4 ineffective

Against the Titans he just gave up, along with every other merkin. All that proves is he's not a leader:

14 tackles 9 missed 1 ineffective

Plus his teammates made it easy for the Titans to isolate him.

And in attack there's no point him running the ball off the back of a slow ruck. Any run against a set defensive line is called a hit up. Do we really want our smallest player taking hit ups?

So if we had it your way Pou we'd never change anything. We would still have Kearney, Sandow is a champion halfback, the results will change eventually.....

Should be the 3rd man in and keep a 2nd rower on one side and someone good defensively like Morgan on his outside. Makes things hard when nobody wingers like Vai come in off the wing every single time.

Has Eric Grothe jr been training the wingers how to defend seems only our team makes these errors year after year.

He was a world beater at the start of the year now he is mud? Give the guy a break, he is not our problem.

Sandow will be punted. I'd put money on it.

Who do you think he would be replaced with? I can't think of anyone better on the market. It's looking like Hodkinson is likely to be re-signed by the dogs. Who else is there?

If Sandow cant improve his defense, he should be moved on as soon as a better option becomes available. When that is?? probably 2014.

I hurt being burned by Albie yesterday. An enthusiastic tackler and speed to burn.

I know that circumstances did not allow us to keep him, but it still hurts seeing him do well and Maloney now a SOO rep etc.

How good would they be if they'd stayed at Parra? My guess is not so good.

Sam Williams, Hodkinson and Luke Walsh are all still available.

How many other halfbacks in the comp have to be hidden in defence . Or is it the lack of mongrel in the back row to help. Reminds me of the days of Preston Campbell on the wing for the panthers at least he had a crack every week .

this,
most of the missed tackles I remember yesterday were cover tackles after the winger had come in and Sandow had to run behind and try to make a cover tackle, at least he was putting in the effort to be there.
