Here we go again. A lower scoring round by Rooster standards and a few surprises. Ozzies still top of the table and his spot seems secure for another round with The Lord sitting at 4th reserve for the match. Its going to be an interesting finish to the season.

And now for the something different I promised earlier in the day. I know you’ve all been waiting with anticipation. Thought I’d do up a thingee with the top 15 posters thus far on average so we could gauge how we’re going. (Ok, I’m thoroughly bored this week with no shifts :lol: ) I’ve only included players who have played at least 2 games here to get an average as one game gives a false result (due to refereeing differences etc). We’re up there boys and girls with a bit of traffic and everyone whose played at least two games at this site is on the table which goes to show, we’re doing ok. (The score in brackets is the scores added and divided by # of games each player has played to get an average)

Um, I thought our star player has played in all the games here. Maybe I'm wrong. Lord, can you confirm that you have indeed played in all games? :lol: :lol: :lol: I think it has more to do with marking differences between the refs but, as you can see, on average, while we're languishing behind Newtown's top 3, we're doing alright.

Well boys and girls, Round 7 is over and done with and another hollow victory for Easts. With only three rounds to go, we’re starting to consolidate our position in the top four. A well played game again with some surprises. A strong showing from the eternal pessimist about her articles – RoostarGirl – who has the honour of now being the fourth Easts player who can’t count. :lol: Top effort 8).

I am really pleased with my result....even with the .2 penalty still .7 better than my best article so far. yipeeee.

Hang on BP my best mark so far was only 7.9 I have never cracked it for an 8. Didnt I get 8.6. Isnt that .7. Correct me if I am wrong...........oh I am sure you will.

I'm embarrassed to take that 3 points to be honest. I thought your article was quality. So yes, it was ozzies article I was referring to. :roll:

I have noticed, however, that I have only been named once in the next three games, allowing me no chance of winning the (to be named) award. Geeze, underhanded tactics there. ;-)

If Souths win this weekend, I'll be shutting the hatches and never opening them again. If you want to spend your life with a neurotic, arrogant (sometimes), slightly frightening woman, an absurdly spastic humoured man, the boyfriend of the neurotic woman, another neurotic female depending on whether the spastic humoured man feels generous, two children that come with the genetic makeup that wasn't helped by their mothers choice in men and a spare kid kindly referred to as the Troll, your welcome. As I said, BYO - includes, food, beverages, woman / wife. Unfortunately, any small brown/black balls are unable to be catered for due to size contstaints, and Jack can't come either. (Well, theoretically Jack will already be there but you get the point)

The only thing I can guarentee, all your medical needs will be catered for. :lol:

Well that was a round and a half and we scraped in by the skin of our teeth. Geeze I enjoy playing the Panthers. They’re a great team in terms of their fair mindedness, sportsmanship and congeniality. A build up for the finals now and I can see the Captain will be assembling the troops for a few extra laps around the paddock in the coming weeks. A top effort boys and girls.
