ECW is a must this week.

Going by reports, Test and RVD steal the show with a Match of the year contender and clear cut best match we've had on ECW so far this year.

Sounds like it was an awesome show.

Tickets go on sale for the ECW December to Dismember PPV that is set for December 3rd in Augusta, Georgia at the Richmond County Civic Center on October 21st. Although incredibly inexpensive, it appears as if ringside seats will go for only $20.
Speaking of big promotion, expect for next week’s ECW on Sci Fi to get a lot of plugs on RAW next week as well as they will be plugging the diva strip poker segment featuring divas from all three brands.

The divas participating in the Extreme Strip Poker next week on ECW on Sci Fi are Maria, Candice Michelle, Ashley, Kristal, Kelly Kelly & Trinity.

Justin Credible's profile has been removed from ECW.com, thus confirming his release from ECW. There was no official announcement made from WWE regarding his departure.

PWInsider is reporting that Too Cold Scorpio is likely to begin with WWE sometime in November. Right now it’s still up in the air whether he will be on SmackDown or ECW. King Booker is pushing heavily to get him on SmackDown and is good friends with him.

Too Cold Scorpio was with WWF for a while in the 90’s and tried to get on the ECW One Night Stand PPV. He was released from the company after an incident with his wife at a hotel similar to what got Rhyno released, which is also why WWE decided against bringing him in for the One Night Stand events. However with WWE looking to bring in some familiar faces and Booker pushing for it, they decided to give him another chance.

jesus who would of thought you'd hear Test and Match of the Year in the same sentence.

I just watched it.

It lived up the hype. It's an awesome match. It's a spot fest, and it is very good. Definitely the best match thus far on ECW. MOTY? I doubt it. I dare say it'll be in the Top 10, because there haven't been many this year.

Here's just a little bit more info on Justin Credible's release from WWE: Credible was officially fired on 9/25 via fax by Johnny Ace. Credible had disappeared and wouldn't return any phone calls to the office. After two weeks of that, WWE stopped issuing checks to him because they figured he'd call them, so then they could notify him of his termination. After a week of that, Johnny Ace was tired him of not returning his phone calls and he fired him via fax. http://www.prowrestling.com/article/news/2082

As reported earlier, the inevitable finally occured as WWE released "ECW Original" Francine Fournier, 34, from her contract this afternoon. She was basically let go because Vince McMahon just didn't like "her look." Also, fellow ECW Vixen Trinity's recent return to action from a severe knee injury ultimately sealed her fate.

Francine had been used sparingly on television since the ECW brand's startup back in June. She often appeared at house shows in bikini contests to put over fellow ECW Vixen Kelly Kelly. Sans a five second cameo appearance on the 8/1 ECW on Sci Fi show, Francine was left off television until September when WWE finally found her a role as the valet of Balls Mahoney. Mahoney had engaged in a feud with Kevin Thorn, and thus she was used to combat his valet Ariel, who had been interfering in his matches. It appeared as though that Francine had finally secured a permanent role with the company as she was starting to appear on television regularly, not to mention that ECW.com had posted up two articles in which she was heavily put over by her fellow peers which made it seem that she was going to get promoted. A slew of pictures from a recent photoshoot were posted up as well. Also, the articles and ECW show previews pushed her feud with Ariel and thus it appeared as though that this would be a long-term feud. However, without warning, the feud between the four individuals was dropped for some unknown reason. Francine last appeared on the 9/26 edition of ECW in an "Extreme Cat Fight" with Ariel and she was left off television the preceding three weeks in which she was available to appear.

Behind the scenes, Vince McMahon was said to have not been a fan of Francine. The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reported back in August that upon seeing her in person backstage for the first time, McMahon went up to Johnny Ace and asked him as to who would hire someone that "looked like that." It is believed that Tommy Dreamer was the person who hired her when he was looking to sign some "ECW Originals" back in May for the startup project. Anyways, McMahon believed that Francine wasn't up to par with the daunting "WWE Diva" looks standard when it comes to beauty. She was said to have been on thin ice from that point on (well actually since the day she was first hired) and dubbed as the person most likely to be let go. It was largely believed that she'd be let go soon after her bikini contest program with Kelly Kelly on the house show circuit ran its course.

Francine's saving grace for a short while was that it was believed that she could make the 19-year-old Kelly Kelly look good in comparison to her during bikini contests so that she could get over with the fans. Regardless of what people thought of her, Kelly Kelly often received rave reviews regarding her physique. On the other hand, Francine received quite a few negative reviews from people that had seen her firsthand during the bikini contests at ECW house shows, at least initially. It wasn't so much that Francine was totally out of shape, but many fans in attendance would specifically take aim at how flabby and unappealing her butt looked in the revealing thongs she would sport, especially considering that it had a tendency to jiggle around a lot while she was strutting her stuff. Francine was aware of this problem too as it was later revealed that she had purchased a piece of fitness equipment to improve the appearance of her butt and thighs off of eBay in July.

Dave Scherer reports that starting soon the ECW brand will no longer be treated as a seperate company but rather as the 3rd brand of the WWE. Little minor changes such as the women swtiching from being called Vixens to Divas and the males from Extremists to Superstars will take place. There has also been some discussion about removing the ECW logo from the screen and replacing it with the WWE logo. Alot of this is Kevin Dunn's doing. He thinks the fans are confused and don't realise that ECW is a part of the WWE and he says thats the reason for the low ratings. Also expect the product to be toned down alot. Vince McMahon is not a fan of hardcore wrestling and he hated the RVD vs Test match.

talk about insulting your fanbase.

Vince McMahon is not a fan of hardcore wrestling and he hated the RVD vs Test match.
i'm wondering exactly where these people get their information. it seems to me that they've actually toned up the program recently.

and hasn't mcmahon just recently participated in what the wwe promotes as the most hardcore stipulation match ever?

That is exactly what i was thinking. He had just booked himself in one of the most dangerous and hardcore match stipulations WWE offers. And not only that, he and his son were slaughtered like lambs and now they are saying that McMahon doesn't like Hardcore?
