Also, 1 home game so far?

I wanted to be 3-3 coming into the Easter weekend. Kind of a must-win game against the Tigers now I suppose.
Playmaking hasn't been as good as expected, which is sad, but its a long season. Just gotta win a couple of tough games to turn it all around

One game in the opening six rounds is an embarrassment to the game. Awful scheduling. Our issues run far deeper than a shitty draw but the lack of consistency in our week-to-week training and travelling certainly did not help. You might be spot on mate, grinding out a win or two could be the catalyst for getting us back on track.

So when I shoot down every bullshit argument of yours it's circular logic? You f**ken idiots are the ones spouting circular logic:

Whingers: We're shit because of <scapegoat>!

Me: That's not why we're losing.

Whingers: It must be true because we're shit! FFS Pau I'm sick of your circular logic!!!! :gapinganus:
As someone who doesn't really get too concerned these days about Parra's fortunes I feel I am well qualified to call these exchanges for what they are. I am neither a whinger (about Parra) nor someone 'calling out the whingers' and am therefore independent. Basically I am just here for a few knob gags.

Some of you would do well to read this post of Pou's a few times. This is a pretty good summary of what typically happens after a disappointing loss. It's not about excusing the coach or the players, it's about having a little perspective.

...and if we win next week the 'wrist slashers' will start talking winning the 2016 premiership again...

So several people (including in the know guys like forty20) say we lost due to our ineffective middle forwards and lack of a decent dummy half which you think shows little perspective.

But Pou says we lost because we have only 1 half and you immediately assume his perspective is correct? Take your nose out of his arse Gary

We are 2 and 4 (50% win-loss give or take one game) because of the strength of our team (which is average), not because individual players 'are shit' or 'not good enough' or whatever scapegoating is going on. All our players are good enough, but our main weakness needs to be addressed before anything else - that is our kicking game.

When we've improved our kicking game we will be far more able to utilise our strengths, which include the defensive line speed from our middle forwards. At the moment they are being worn down by having to make too many tackles (as well as suffering from losing forcems-back in the kicking duel). This saps the energy required to bring more aggression.

The fact we are trying to entice another half to jump ship mid season, ahead of a hooker (most popular scapegoat) or a 'damaging front rower' (next scapegoat) proves the coaching staff see it the way I do. This is why I support them - because I understand (most of) their decisions.

And you need to keep this in perspective - just because something isn't a strength (e.g. lack of a giant 50 minute front rower) doesn't mean it's a weakness.

All I said is that Arthur needs help and now we are wrist slashers? Are you Paul Kent?

Poo, you are always content with mediocrity, you are the king of Mediocrity and you actually spend all of your time fighting for it, fighting for yours and the clubs right to embrace and propagate mediocrity.
Have you ever had a good think about that?
You are like a mother with a hopeless drug addicted child, always looking for reasons to embrace his mediocrity because its a coping mechanism for you.
Dont you ever want something more than the 24/7 fight for mediocrity poo?
You are the mediocrity king Poo, why not be the king of having higher standards and the king of above average?

He has been making excuses since 2009. It's a 10 year plan. we will get there.

After every loss you can be as sure as the sun comes up tomorrow that while everybody else will be calling it how it is, poo will be making excuses.
He spends the majority of his time defending the club and bagging the fans and making excuses for the same stuff year after year, every day is mediocrity excuse groundhog day with poo.

I haven't seen Warriors game yet, but in my opinion so far, we've really only had just over 4 halves of bad football. Late first half and all second half of Tits game, all of Sharks and first half of Raiders game.
Looking back we appear to have failing defensive structures. Especially compared to last year. Do those guys who watch football for a living reckon it's poor training or opposition figuring ways around?

Nope. You are putting words into my mouth and making a lot of noise, but sadly no sense.

I was talking about the bipolar nature of this forum which Gronk was smart enough to work out. Middle forwards, schmiddle forwards....whatever. I don't care about that. It has nothing to do with the point I was making.

I don't even think individuals on this forum have a bi-polar nature. The same people who are offering their opinions on our problems now were also talking about those same issues in the pre-season and also criticised our wins (eg. lack of tries in the 2nd half of manly game with all the ball on their goal line and shitty defence in the Dragons game).

Find me one person who thought we were going to finish top 4 at the start of the season who is bagging us now. Otherwise you are just talking shit

Happy to agree to disagree mate. I don't have a problem with you thinking I am talking shit. I know that there are others who agree with me.

God forbid anyone questions Arthur's tactics which have been poor this year. Let alone his relentless pursuit and facilitation of long term deals that have cost the club plenty of money. Anthony Watmough and Kieran Foran were massive failures on his part. His f**k up. He knew their history and must be held accountable. If Beau Scott keeps playing like Ben Smith that will be another failure as will Frank Pritchard. Did he really think that K. Pritchard is the long term option for us when there were plenty of hookers on the market?

He is a good up and coming coach that so far has done nothing but provide great leadership off the field in a time of need. He needs to show it on the field which is his major KPI. He needs assistance because Gentle and that other nuffy from the Gold Coast have for mine provided sweet f**k all.

If he doesn't realise this soon or dramatically improve his performance he may be without a job by mid next year.

He is not immune to any constructive criticism.

Why on earth would you assume that I based an assessment on one recent thing that you said? That doesn't make sense.

I have been reading your posts for more than 10 years.
