BA is a great coach when we are winning.
The days after a loss however, the usual suspects are yanking back the shower curtain.
If he doesn't make the 8 this year he has failed. If i happens again in 2018 he will be an assistant coach again. This is a results driven business. Even the great Wayne Bennett and Jack Gibson who won premierships were tapped on the shoulder at different stages of their careers. Brad Arthur hasn't even made the finals and anyone who questions him is immediately attacked.BA is a great coach when we are winning.

My neighbour told me it's Peats.
No, he heard your neighbour was Lichaa
Lichaa told you we are signing Peats? He is.
We would've played finals last year if we weren't caught spending as much as the clubs with all the TPAs. Our recruiting suffered for this year because the salary cap fallout was drawn out.
Very few people on Earth turn on their own as quickly or as mindlessly as Eels fans...
You'd be surprised, it appears to be a general human behaviour in this day and age for people to turn on those who lose...Just look at politics when someone loses an election or has a drop in the polls...everyone is baying for blood and wants change...it's the era never settling for anything but winning me thinks.
What's the difference between a reason and an excuse?30 years of f**king excuses!
So Arthur's coaching achievements would have been exaggerated seeing we played with an illegal squad. We would've played finals last year if we weren't caught spending as much as the clubs with all the TPAs. Our recruiting suffered for this year because the salary cap fallout was drawn out.

When there is no valid reason - you use an excuse.

You don't really know that. But - I am not going to slash my wrists after one performance. However, when all is said and done, our club is most certainly the least successful in NRL history - and probably only slightly better than the Demons and Saints in AFL.
70 years of competition and we won all our premierships in a 5 year 'golden period'. Apart from that 5 year period we have had 65 years of failing to win a premiership. Who can top that? The Bears before they were booted are the only team that come close. Imagine for a second if Sterling and Kenny had never joined our club !!! Scary thought.
Anyway, it just annoys me when everyone want to throw up excuses or reasons as Pou calls them. But clubs like the Bulldogs, Roosters, Panthers are never down for too long. One bad season max for those guys. We should be the same.
