Let's just support whoever is appointed, Carty can at least recruit decent players and knows Western Sydney

As fans we have to stop death riding every decision if it's not what we want to the most minuscule area. Sharpie was voted in to do a job, let's support him doing it, we weren't there at the interviews so it may be the right person , find we do nitpick

As long as the players want to play for the coach I don't care who it is. It's obvious the last 2 lost the dressing room.

Any reason why JT and Henry are out of the equation.

Not willing to work under smith???

i love how we don't even know if smithy is gonna come in any way shape or form, yet we are blaming him for coaches who are rumoured to not be coming

gold!

Not blaming anyone for anything. Just asking a question.

FYI, I'm a smithy fan. I think his signature would more important than any potential coach.

Whoever ends up coach will come in for criticism, Bennett would be too old, Bellsmy won't have the big 3 and a dodgy cap, Maguire won't have Russell Crowe to buy talent etc Eric

If we get say Smith zany JT, why don't we all, me included, get behind the appointment and supper them . If we were prepared to give the biggest d...head in the game a chance, then lets not death ride the next coach.

Personally happy with Smith and either JT, Arthur or Henry , lets go 2014

Just a few things. Who's Eric? I think J.T. has probably matured a bit. And, considering there's probably around a thousand of us forumites, are you suggesting some sort of time-table whereby we take it in turns to invite the coach to supper? Also, would these free meals be part of his salary package?

i don't mind cartwright, but for those who don't know he served as an assistant to sticky at the chooks, and is one of sticky's best mates...so eventually the usual deathride will occur by the anti stuart protagonists,

like i've said repeatedly, we're best to start on a completely new page.

I thought the signing of Stephen Kearney was more or less a completely new page. Probably the wrong book, though.

All the leaks appear to have been plugged and everyone is just guessing. I heard that Flanagan was approached (someone from the Sharks advised me). Would take him or Taylor but am hoping its a bigger fish.
The only bigger fish are all wrapped up tight, Henry is really the only name coach on the market and the rest would be all gambles.

My first choice has always been Henry and then JT, Flanno would be great but I wouldn't touch him without the ASADA investigations are over. Tough choice either way they have a tough job to do.

. Parramatta's off-field dramas have actually managed to worsen. We hear chairman Steve Sharp and former CEO Denis Fitzgerald have now fallen out. Fitzgerald was the brains behind Sharp's ParraFirst ticket that swept to power earlier this year. But the two are no longer mates after Sharp failed to publicly support Fitzgerald on several issues. There is also drama over former coach Brian Smith's possible appointment as head of coaching next season. Powerful figures want him back but are finding a lot of resistance. English coach Steve McNamara is part of the Smith regime but the whole thing is turning ugly and could be knocked on the head altogether.
