whatever the case - next year is gonna be f**ked cos Ando had the player's support and no matter how "professional" we expect them to be its not gonna sit well with many of them and that doesn't sound like a barrel of fun for 2011

I would have preferred some honesty. Club and coach are going in different directions. No hard feelings. Shake hands. Move on.

So far they get 1/10 for the way that they've handled this. Most organisations have a media man to advise them on damage control. These guys come across as amateurs.

The board is a disgrace - do a review and ask all the players if they gave everything in each game. Anderson is not the problem and bringing in a new coach won't solve the same problem.

but just adding that he also reiterated that a review will take place at the end of the year like they do each year and he said that that they will make a decision from there.

Where did Hadley get the info about racial vilification if it has been denied by the supposed complainent, Feliti Mateo?

A good journalist would have followed it up with Mateo himself to check its authenticity. If it turns out to be untrue, Hadley should be taken to the cleaners. It's a very serious and slanderous allegation.

1. One of the seven board members is presumably leaking to Hadley (or Fitzgerald which is the same thing)
2. Hadley has run an outrageous defamation of the board and/or Daniel Anderson which took one phone call from a member of these forums to deny

if the board has made a decision following it's review to pay the coach out that is it's perogative. I don't agree with it.

But the biggest concern is that a media identity feels it is his place to interfere to these lengths, and that fitzgerald and his remaining contacts on the board would stoop to these levels.

Then secondly that everyone on these forums uncritically accepts this crap.

This whole thing is disgraceful. Ray Hadley did not bring up the allegations of racial vilification. What he said was that the info that he has been given is that if Ando does not resign, an unsubstantiated and untrue allegation of racial vilification would be released to the media. Ray said the allegations were not true - as the statement from Feleti indicates.

The way the Parramatta board have treated Ando is an absolute disgrace. No wonder the team had the trouble concentrating on their games and succeeding on the field this year, with the back-stabbing and infighting of the board going on in the background. No one would operate effectively within the poisonous climate that has been around the club this year. There is a lack of leadership in the place and Ando has not been permitted to do his job.

Look at well run clubs like St George where the coach has all the responsibility and accountability for the team's success. The difference between them and us is marked. God knows Ando has not had the opportunity to build on last year's efforts. Let him see out his contract and do what we hired him to do.

I am absolutely incensed at the goings on and it kills me to say this, but after nearly 38 years as a parramatta supporter, I am seriously considering giving the club, and my season tickets, a wide berth next year.

I dont think we need a Masters degree to work out the most likely candidate to do that....

St George = Nathan Brown, etc,all short memories since Bennett was there, as supporters we are definitely piss weak. The board has made a decision, which I sort of agree with, everyone seems to forget how woeful we played with a pretty decent roster. I don't remember the board etc on the field, still easy to believe the agend a driven shock jock.

I turned it off as soon as he started as it was obvious where the info came from, someone who is bitter after losing out recently.
