Eels game

Bird to centres FFS with Feagai outside him the Eels will have a field day and thats without the penalties he gives away and the fact he will be gassed and running side ways after 20 minutes. Parra by 50.
Agree

Stupid move

better to blood the young winger Sione Finau and play Mat Fegai at centre.

Bird is too slow to be effective as a defender at centre.

Barring a miracle this will ensure we get smashed

Parra get Dylan Brown back this week. It could go 2 ways. He is rusty and has a quiet one or helps Parra get back to their winning ways with an outstanding return to hand Saints a flogging. The left side will be targeted deluxe so I can only see option 2 happening unfortunately. Geez I hope I am wrong.

How much in real terms will it cost ? Is it 50k per player outside the 30 or 10k or 100k ? Is it per each game ? Just interested what the rules are and if it is worth it to blood new players?
I'm not positive how it all works but in essence if you bring people in outside of your top 30 (people already allowed for in your cap) it means you have exceeded so therefore next year you have less.

How much that is buy I couldn't find the numbers but no doubt some in here will know those.

If you were bringing up someone who would remain in your cap for next year then you have to negotiate with them to accept a lower amount for the ensuing years as you have constraints by having lowered your effective cap for the next year (I hope that makes some sort of sense)

In summary, only a mandated nominal total $value of players are allowed on the field in 1st grade in any one season. Is that it?

Not actually what I was thinking about

It is more about if you have to bring someone in due to given circumstances and you are at your nominated limit what is the cost value to have that extra player included?

Agree with you gents that this may be a bit of a cricket score , we have too many injuries and suspensions and unfortunately our replacements not quite up to first grade standard .

Still if the Dragons can make a game of it then that will be of some consolation .
