84 freebies may be nothing, but a CEO whinging about it comes across as very... precious.

No wonder NRL clubs are still struggling to turn a profit with this snourt in the trough attitude. Pull your head in Roy!

yeah, and I didnt realise the players get 4 each which really chews into that.

i don't have a problem with him bitchwhinging - its all tactics isn't it?

I would expect the Dragons committee would make the same noise if we couldn't offer them corporate area at Parra Stadium..

Blown out of proportion.

Fitzy used to get criticised for useless tactical whinging in the lead up to games. Don't see why this should be exempt from similar criticism.

And it says the 84 each is an NRL allocation, since the game is not a true Dragons home game as such. I don't think the Dragons would whinge in the reverse was true, and Roy and Josh have blown this out of proportion. Stick to what you do well fellas...

What about Brookvale last year? I don't recall anything being said.

We weren't at Brookvale last year, so i wouldn't know

Dragons/NRL didn't have a cry about the game been played at Brookvale. You were saying you would expect the Dragons to make some noise if we couldn't offer them corporate area at Parra Stadium. Just saying, no they wouldn't.

Are you kidding? AT Country vs City i hand out a sh*t load of freebie seats, at a game that attracts no more then 10,000!

Board/Staff/Sponsors/Players Families (4 x each player as per the Players agreement)

84 is nothing!

Probably that is why the game is held at a regional centre and not a 'fair dinkum' country town where the game itself would attract the 'true believers'.

With all due respect......

kenny, price et al are board members of the football club. As this NRL fixture in essence has no relationship to the footy club, (only the NRL club) I dont believe that they nor Mr Spagbolo have any avenue for complaint. If it were a jesery flegg fixture for example, they could PERHAPS feel a little hard done by. Officially, they are not entitled to any better seats than any of us in this instance.

If the club wants to purchase seats better than those allocated then that is their perogative, i guess. I certainly wouldn't be embarassed giving them hill tickets. Their backsides aren't gold plated and therefore requiring leather recliners.
