Raelli redeems himself now as he snaffles up an offload from the Warriors.

Parra back on the attack with Tepu-Smith who fights his way down the left. Matterson runs it down the left and offloads to Lussick who nearly loses the ball but manages to keep control at the lost moment.

Dockar-Clay calls for the ball to the right and in front of the posts and stabs a grubber in goals and traps the fullback in goals.

Line drop out.

Clay finds Makelim down the right who turns the ball to Folau. Folau tries to beat his opposite on the outside but is jsut cut down.

Mauala is used to centre the ball and Matterson then finds Goodall on the overs crash line. Fabian might have lost the ball there but no official notices anything.

Dockar-Clay is in the slot on the last and looks for Lavaka on the right with a perfectly weighted kick.

Lavaka, who has shown his aerial ability in defence earlier, flies over his opposite and comes down to score! Damn decent effort there from Halauafu!

The conversion is unsuccessful.

The Eels lock the scores up at 18-all

Maula gets the set underway and he is followed by a rampant Tepu-Smith. Ruck control is swinging back to the Eels and Dockar-Clay and Lussick punish the Warriors with some nice interchange play.

Matterson comes down the left and finds Goodall, who has to take the tackle. Matterson is involved again on the next tackle as he tries to roll the ball into the in goals.

The kick picks up a deflection with no six again called. Makelim scoops it up but decides to takes the tackle and enforce the change over.

Li, Lavaka, Tepu-Smith and Mauala do the heavy lifting this set but Maualua looks to be in a spot of bother as he stays down after his carry.

Maualua is struggling big time here and Jordan Muna is up off the bench to replace him.

The New Zealand back three have the luxury of setting up during the break in play and easily take the Parramatta kick.

The Eels defend well this set and get an important penalty as Makelim is accosted by off side chasers.

Nothing fancy from the Eels as they roll it up the middle. They breach the half way mark on the last and Matterson does very well to find touch 10m out from the NZ goal line.

We enter the final ten minutes now as the Warriors have a slow scrum win.

Good work up the middle in defence from the Eels early in this set. The Warriors make some in roads down our right and make enough ground to eek out an attacking kick.

They bomb Makelim who takes the ball well but is then hammered by two chasers. He is very nearly driven in goals but keeps the ball in the field of play.

Parra run from dummy half twice before time is called off for the injured NZ halfback - who was one of the two that tackled Makelim.

Mauala has torn ligaments in his ankle. It would thus seem unlikely that he will take part in the remainder of this game, if not any games in the foreseeable future.

The NZ halfback has also left the field with his right arm in a makeshift sling.

Parra open the Warriors up with some second phase play but Matterson's kick on the last fails to trouble the left winger of the Warriors.

Big break for the Eels! 50/50 call goes our way as the ref calls a knock on against a Warrior who was looking for a quick play-the-ball.

Parra scrum 10m short of halfway.

Matterson feeds the scrum and the Warriors go for the tight head. The ref blows the scrum up and packs them in again.

Big metres from the scrum win for the Eels as Goodall and Li punish some sloppy short side defence.

Clay does well to hold onto the ball on our right edge shift. Matterson sbrings it back to the left with a short ball to Muna. Aloiai steams in after him!

Clay takes the ball back to the right and nearly steps through before offloading to Tepu-Smith. Frenetic stuff.

Zach takes the ball on the next tackle and tries to repeat his last effort with Lavaka but the kick is well off the mark and results in a 20m restart.

Chance gone begging again.

And now the Eels will play from behind as the NZ #6 calmly slots a field goal from mid-range.

The Warriors lead the Eels 19-18

76min gone.

Parra take a long kick off and will back themselves to drive their way into a scoring position.

Li secures the ball for the Eels and they have plenty of work to do as they are deep in their own half.

Matterson and Goodall get the roll started as they make some decent metres down the left.

Clay hoists it high in what resembles a hail mary.....and the Warriors have lost the ball!!!

Lavaka takes the loose pill and tries to fend his way to the line. He can't make it and the Eels build towards a left edge shift. They spin it that way and can't breach the line but get a penalty!

Oh wow....they don't have the confidence in Clay's boot and take the tap. Just wow.

Nothing doing early in the count for the Eels BUT THEY COME TO THEY LEFT WITH HANDS AND LI PUSHES OVER.

I have no idea how that worked? Who would take the tap from that position? What on earth were they thinking?

I DON'T KNOW. I DON'T CARE.

Parra have stolen the win as Dockar-Clay injects himself down the left edge.

The conversion is unsuccessful

What a great win by the boys. Very entertaining. Matterson has a very nice passing game. I really like the look of Josh A. Can't spell his surname.
