I see Joey Lussick's profile is up. Does that mean his injury wasn't career-ending?

I believe I read somewhere there were serious fears he'd never play again - I hope those reports were way off the mark.

Davis is definitely one to keep an eye on.

I didn't catch any of his SG Ball efforts in 2013 but I did see him line up for Guildford in the Ron Massey Cup. He was extremely impressive in those games, showing some footballing nous to go with his massive frame.

As far as speed goes, he was able to keep Jerome MacKenzie at bay across ~80-90 metres (with Jerome giving away a small head start) when Guildford played Wenty. I'm not sure how explosive he is from a standing start but he certainly can chew up the metres once he gets a little bit of space.

Before our massive second tier recruitment drive I him pegged as a possible NSW Cup debutante for 2014 but the club may just let him develop in the NYC for a full season given how much depth we now possess.

Thanks

As eloquentEEL said, you are thinking of Blake Harrison.

Lussick is a hooker/half while Harrison is a backrower.

Parra has a few white kids. Every club does.

Parra has fewer than most, they have a love affair with one nationality in particular.

And it could been the reason why the standard of the NRL, NSW Cup and certainly the NYC (although the standard has always been shithous) is slipping.

If you're talking about Pacific Islanders then they're actually several different 'nationalities'. Not to mention most-if-not-all of the ones that grow up in Parramatta are Australian citizens.

The only thing wrong with the NRL at the moment is the wrestle - introduced and perfected by white coaches.

1: Really, didn't know that.

2: Look at the World Cup Final - and even you will realise where the strength lies - plenty of salt and a little bit of pepper.

3: if you believe that than you have no bloody idea.

Brett McKenna tweeted this photo a couple of days ago:
