Since Poups isn't doing his f**king job, here have some SG Ball highlights you merkins!

Clicky

Interesting that Vidal got the start at right half, though it looks like Doolan might have played fullback (in jersey 19). Nice solo try by Dargan at the end - I've been waiting for a decent highlight by that merkin. I'm interested to see if (or when) he plays NYC later this year, since he doesn't turn 18 until next year. He has decent size for a half anyway.

Vidal threw a pretty slick pass for a try to what is traditionally the weaker side for passing.

Despite having seniority on his side it took him a while to secure his place in the starting roster but he looks to be playing some good footy having entered the post-season.

Cheers Ham. Vidal threw a couple of great balls to Fuimaono and Oloapu. Looking forward to the three of them getting a run in NYC next month.

I'm not sure if Vidal and Oloapu will make it but I believe we will definitely be seeing Fuimaono in the NYC. He's a big boy for a 17 year and still possesses some crafty touches that he is known for. A starting forward pack of: Tepu-Smith, Tanginoa, Moeroa, Fuimaono, and Aloiai would be frickin' awesome.

Yeah he will probably replace Eric Newbigging in the current pack.

Tui Oloapu is a jet. He'd have to be ahead of Leva Li as our number five outside back. I agree Vidal has a few merkins in front of him (Matterson, Dockar-Clay, Markus), but all three have utility value, and I'm certain Kaysa Pritchard is the NRL side's second choice at hooker. And both teams have been lucky with injury so far. The NYC is a long season for semi-professional players.

Has Kadince Christensen managed to get onto the field? This is his last year of SG Ball and he's been wearing jersey 20-something most weeks. It looks like he won't be retained for next year.

He definitely would be ahead of any of our other backs in the NYC squad but currently I can't see any of the players being promoted into NSW cup and it doesn't appear as if any of the boys are going to get injured any time soon but that could change instantly.

Kadince played 1 or 2 games starting this year. Jack Morris hasn't played much either but I think he may have another year in SG Ball.

The NYC should be in for a big game today. Coming off a massive 80-minute demolition of the 5th placed Tigers they come up against the 13th-placed Cowboys. If all of the boys put in as much effort against this team as they did against the Tiges it should be an even bigger score. I'm expecting a big game from Moeroa, he looks to be getting into the swing of things over the past 2 weeks and is about to hit peak-form. With the starting front-row of Tepu-Smith and Tanginoa, you can expect some more TA's and LBA's from ZDC in the coming weeks and more powerful running from Matterson. If Parra can put on another performance like they did on Monday they will go a long way in this competition and might have a few players in the TOTY.

Moeroa just scored and we're up 16-4 with the KTC. Cowboys scored first but since then it's been all Parra.

Plenty of time for us to clock off but.
