Good set from the Dragons as they ruck it over halfway before a superb kick puts Davis under a fair amount of pressure.

There is a chaser flying through but Davis coolly watches it trickle over the sideline.

Parra scrum 10m out from their goal line.

Penalty for Parra as the defence takes an age to get off Dockar-Clay.

Play resumes 10m in to St George's half before Parra quickly turn the ball over.

Frustrating stuff...

The Dragons nearly open Parra up the middle before attacking our left edge. We cover the move well and pull the ball down near the sideline.

Our line speed is shot though as the Dragons come back to the posts before some good intensity from Jack Anderson helps force an error from St George on Parra's goal line. Hang on, St George scrum...I'm confused so whoever has the TV coverage can explain that one.

Anyway, St George have the scrum and attack our right edge down the short side. The play fails and the Dragons go to their right afterwards where the return the favour to Parra by catching them short with a simple move which sees #19 cross in the corner.

Conversion is successful.

St George trail Parra 18-20

53min gone.

The Dragons have had all the running in the second half.

Massive metres from the kickoff set once more for St George. Parra's line speed is shot.

Davis takes a very good catch to defuse the St George bomb but the Eels have a tonne of work to do.

The try to bash their way out of their half and St George simply swarm them.

Dockar-Clay has to kick from deep in his half once again and the ball is eaten up by the St Geroge winger.

Tanginoa is down is St George's half.

Meanwhile, back in our half there is an intercept from Lavaka (?) to release some pressure.

St George get a 20m restart and simply drive their way up the middle, taking the ball into Parra's redzone before Wes Lolo gets his second try of the day from a nice short ball.

Poor read from our right edge but Lolo was always going to be hard to stop.

We are struggling big time in the second stanza.

Another soft try, gee not at all impressed at most of this side today. Tepai has been hardly sighted and as soon as Kelepi and Tepu Smith went off the forwards have offered little.

It looked like a better set of defence from the Eels there before an offload and a resulting penalty piggyback the Dragons down field once again.

The Eels are up against it this set.

We continue to hang back and let them comes to us, which is causing us a world of trouble.

A small ray of fortune for Parra as the attacking raid down our right edge concludes in a knock on from the Dragons.

Time off as Lavaka stays down after taking a carry.

Good carry from Tepu-Smith there, we will need a few more of them to get back into this game.

Parra come down their right on the fourth but don't make any significant inroads before Daoud sends a midfield bomb up on the last.

The chase is good from Parra but they can't get through the blockers. The St George winger juggles it backwards before reeling it in.

No nonsense set from the Dragons after that. They play it up the middle before putting in another excellent kick that finds touch ~10m out from Parra's goal line.

Parra are clawing their way back into the ruck contest but Dockar-Clay's kicking radar remains off as he boots it dead once more.

A break finally comes Parra's way as St George lose the pill in the play-the-ball 30m out from their line.

Parra need to make something happen soon and this set represents the perfect chance.

Good run by Folau from the scrum.

Mauala follows him up, carting the ball to the line before the Eels come back to the posts.

Lussick tries to dart over and claims the try but the ref has none of it, signalling that he is held up and bringing play back to the 10m line for a play-the-ball.

Lussick holds things up as he suffers a cramp.

Clay calls for the ball on the right and throws a good ball to Folau who can't quite reel it in before taking contact and he loses the ball.

Echoing my earlier sentiments but frustrating stuff from the Eels.
