To be fair he probably hasn't really had a good opportunity to get much game time over the last few years behind a pack winning the middle.

When Peats was here, he was playing a "lock" role. Then last year when he finally got a good opportunity, we weren't going that great over the first 10 or so weeks. Then we started winning and his form improved before his injury.

That’s why I don’t understand all the hate. While peats was here, Kaysa played as a middle forward (obsurd). Last year he looked good in his first year as a hooker in grade. Plus he was asked to play long minutes. He’s only going to improve barring injury.

So many people deathriding Kaysa so early. He’s in one of the most demanding positions, and being asked to play 80 minutes. Given his size and experience, he’s going great. Yeah, he’ll be no Cam Smith, but had the rest of the squad played with his heart and passion, we wouldn’t of been 0-6. Can’t believe king got a run before him.

We don't need him to be a kicking hooker, imo - as long as he can run out of dummy-half, and create space for Norman and Moses that way, he will be valuable.

And his defence is just astounding. Superb attitude.

He has really improved, and I'm so happy for him.

That's true - plenty of improvement left in him.

But he's young, and has an awesome attitude - I think he will come good.

He has definitely been better the last 2 weeks and hopefully keeps that improvement going. There are still too many passes from him that the halves catch above their heads for mine which i would think is a hookers No1 job (apart from keeping Bernie happy)
