So given that Williams was sacked, one would have to assume he was already re-signed for 2019.
I knew Davis wasn't but was unaware of Williams signing status for next year.

Dont contract run until end of october - in which case he is sacked from this season ... we save a months wages

But seriously, the club could have some X strikes per season policy then you get sacked ... tony might have done his but davis not - so tony sacked immediately even tho only 1 month to run??

Or he might have had another season we didnt know about

A little bit of A and a sprinke of B.

Actually, as Williams was on a rehab program, there may have been more stricter conditions (and penalties) even for a 2-strike offender.

Two Eels made the ESL Super Eights team of the week

Ryan Morgan (St Helens)

Morgan has been an unsung hero for Saints this season. He was brilliant against Warrington, making 127 metres from eight drives, averaging 15.88 metres per-carry. He provided an assist and also made 19 tackles. The 28-year-old bust seven tackles and made two clean breaks.

Kenny Edwards (Catalans Dragons)

Edwards has proved his worth since arriving from Parramatta Eels midway through the season. He put in another big display in Catalans’ win over Hull FC. He scored a try and made 107 metres from nine carries in the game, busting five tackles.

I wonder where Edwards will end up next season? Has 2 offers from ESL clubs and I am sure a few NRL clubs could use his services....
