Eels in the media

Yeah well, Canberra is a big move. They must be paying him a shitload to move to that dump. There's no attraction in moving to this forsaken place in the middle of nowhere unless you are a political servant, love freezing winters, road kill and your idea of a night out is viewing the water spout in lake BG.

Other than the fact that you'd get to go to the pub with me ;-)

Ha ha, yeah that sums it up.

I must admit I did have w/e out there late last year and the night life in Civic wasn't to bad for a Friday night. Definitely a few places to choose from but was expensive.

I'd generally avoid Civic (unless you're into fighting, in which case it's excellent after about 11). Braddon, and other places in the inner North are quite ok, without being super-exciting. The 2 speakeasies on the West Side of Civic are actually pretty good....but not easy to find as they don't have signs on the door (pure wank of course).

I'm up for it, though they better not have Fosters on tap.

hehe, drop me a line. I was at this pub on Good Friday (the Old Canberra Inn), which has a very mixed clientele. Used to be a bit rough when owned by the Rebels, but some blokes from Newtown bought it a year or so a go, and now has about 6 or 7 craft ales on tap (plus Carlton Draught). Some English tourists popped in and weren't too keen on the ales, and were very disappointed that they couldn't buy a Fosters.

Maybe I'll just read a few of your posts about how your cousin told you that Blake Ferguson was on a million a year.

You only seem to post to get a reaction out of people. If you want a huge reaction, you should take a long hard look at yourself. You litter every thread you post in. Maybe you need to step out of your housing complex and interact with more people.

Just remember to repeat. I am somebody.

No not everyone.

Just liars, and the type of people who use issues like poverty or mental health or drinking problems as something to sneer at them about.

Also the type of gutless merkin who can't respond on a forum to what's actually being posted about without resorting to making up things about the personal lives of people they have never met.

You tick all three boxes which suggests an insecure, ignorant intellectual lightweight.

Pubs are evolving and it's mostly in a good way. What were Pommies doing in Canberra, looking for bleak weather and warm beer?

Don't worry about my housing complex.

You should be more concerned about your superiority complex.

It''s a symptom of your personality disorder, and is directly proportionate to your lack of actual ability.

Not sure. Possibly the National Folk Festival. Actually, half the staff at the pub are poms. The key to Canberra is not going any further than 5kms from the lake in any direction. Live in a smaller place close to town, and it's quite pleasant and plenty to do...obviously not everyone with a family can afford that.

You guys should lighten up somewhat. You're both Eels fans, it's easter and the sun is shining. The team is doing quite OK at this point and that's been a long time coming. Life is short, enjoy the moment and stop being dicks.

Go back a couple of pages. No matter where I post he can't help himself. I mention price never being happy, and I obviously hit a nerve. Unintentionally of course.

I actually started posting when you started lying.

That's probably why i have to respond every time you post.

There's no need to suck up to the teacher by the way.
