4 weeks is being light really they need to learn there lesson somehow. How hard is it for these players to behave themselves in public.

After all the stupid things rugby league players have done this off season getting yourself intoxicated one week out from the season when your about to hop on a plane and then being disruptive on it.

How much leeway do you give these idiots
IMO, little to none. The problem is that the ones who engage in such behaviour are just too stupid to understand the consequences of their actions or they just don't care. Being a role model to young kids just doesn't even enter the equation when they get a taste of fame. They treat the NRL with contempt and need to be eradicated from the game.

I remember the gist of an interview with a supercar driver (Lowndes, Skaife or someone of that era) and how when they entered the sport, all the drivers were brought together by the older drivers (Brock, Johnson, etc) and told to buy in to creating a professional image for the sport. They all did media training to be pro yet engaging in interviews to draw crowds and with that sponsors. Basically the older heads, particularly the privateers, were leading the way to not only be professional, but f**king get PAID too.

The NRL player leader is #camf**kingillionaire who’s off whinging about not getting his cheating premierships because Sharks got theirs. I wonder player behaviour ownership is at a low

Yep and the commentators and media wank over Cam all day, every day!

He may speak ok but he is the biggest wanker there is in the game!

Maika Sivo (Wing — Parramatta Eels v Penrith Panthers)

We’ve all heard about how Dylan Brown is the next big thing to come out of Parramatta, but there is a wing who could usurp him as the Eels big hope.

His name is Maika Sivo, and in the last four seasons the 25-year-old Fijian has scored 105 tries.

After being spotted by a Gundagai couple holidaying in Fiji, he switched codes from union and went to play in Group 9 with the Gundagai Tigers.

He then passed by Mounties in the Sydney Shield, St Marys and Penrith in the Ron Massey Cup before starring for the Panthers in the NSW Cup last year.

Now he’ll face his former club in the NRL when the Eels meet them on Sunday.

One of the qualities good rugby league judges often say you can never put a price on? Speed. And by all reports Eels young gun Dylan Brown has it in spades.
The story that made us sit up and take notice was when Parramatta coach Brad Arthur talked up the day Bevan French made a break at training.

The 18-year-old NRL rookie Brown not only ran him down and but also bundled him into touch.

The other great indicators for Brown are the fact he can tackle like a back-rower and loves taking the line on.

There’s good reason for genuine excitement about the NRL debut of this teenager.
