West Wales have appointed Aaron Wood as their new head coach for 2020.
The Australian replaces Kim Williams, who left the Raiders at the end of last season to become academy coach at Super League side Huddersfield.
Wood has spent time coaching in the junior systems at Parramatta Eels and St George Illawarra Dragons, as well as having a spell with Toulouse and the France national team.
He said: “It is a very interesting role to accept. I like challenges and I want to see if I can make a difference.
“I’m a big believer in club culture and from talking with the club and staff, they all want to see the team do well.
“We are recruiting some quality players and I will continue to speak to more when I arrive next week.
“I’m excited just to get straight in to it and start working towards becoming successful team on and off the pitch.
“I’m going to bring an energetic approach and want the team to become a hard working and humble squad.”
