Ummmm Brandy was easily the best player in that Riff team, Geyer was immense in thier run to the GF also. He played in the centres and played off the back of their hard work. Stevie Carter was probably more important lol.
Brandy disappeared after his brother died. He was never the same player again. And sure he was influential at Penrith, being the halfback and captain but the bloke didn't win a single Origin game in his career. Fittler played all three games in the '92, '93 and '94 series wins. During that same period Alexander played 39 games for Penrith for 16 wins (41%). Fittler played 60 games for 26 wins (43%).

You might have a point that Fittler was only the second best player at Penrith prior to 1992, but he was still a f**ken teenager.

Well after what happened was that really a surprise??? If you listen to some of the stories the whole club fell apart. 43% winning rate over 3 years thats hardly immortal material.......... The late 80's into that 91 season Brandy more than matched guys like Stuart and Langer, especially in club footy. In rep football he was a victim of his versatility. You only have to see his effort in the 91 GF to see how good he was.

Moses is co-hosting the Benji Show on Tuesday.
Moses has a future in the media and with sterlo gone we certainly need someone in there post playing days so we least have a voice from a parra perspective.

We don't have anyone anymore and i am not including hindy because he isn't on Fox league for football.

Lockyer for mine. Better than Johns and hands down better than Fittler.
Immortal is a very special title. It should be reserved for those extra special.
Im a huge fan of Sterlo, Kenny and The Crow but it would be Pricey every day for me when contemplating an Eel. The only other Id consider would be Gibbo but Im not sure if Coaches are eligible.
I agree that Price is the best all round player Parramatta has ever had. But, gee, Kenny comes awful close to matching him. Of the other two, I've always felt that Sterling was slightly over rated, and Cronin under rated.
