Not really, it gives their pack time to recover, which we don’t want. They are already fit / mobile enough.

More hit ups isn’t an issue if you constantly getting small breaks….additionally the backs wouId still take the early hit ups still..…..

as the article shows, stopping their backs making metres is a better option, as it gives less field position and puts more pressure on their forwards - which can lead to errors / fatigue. Breaks reduces this pressure…
Yep, it is never big forwards that trouble our middle defence, it is always outside backs coming through the middle or smaller forwards with footwork (e.g. Cook, Murray) that cause us trouble.

Um what happens if we win the comp ?

You cant argue with whi is in that squad .... RCG vs Lodge maybe is probably the only one. But Reg seems to have shat on someones bed .. Lane the other, but there are other good players there.

Load of bulllshit if Lodge gets picked, a good month after 3 years of shit and gets picked…while RCG great for 3 years doesn’t get a look in…..it’s the most disgraceful select and disrespectful to the Aussie jumper if lodge gets a start before RCG!!

Roosters!! Always getting what they want!!

Yeah it’s definitely double-edged but it would disrupt how they play somewhat.
Also if their backs take the early hitups then it would be against set defence rather than kick returns.
Definitely should stick with what’s worked for us, but it would be interesting to see how the other tactic affected them.

I remember hearing tht Billy and Freddy are also selectors for the aussie team so don't expect rcg to be in it.
