There is no chance in the world in all my years watching this game that Jake Arthur would ever get into the Parra 17 maybe not even top 30 if it wasn’t for the coach. No f**king chance. Plenty of past players have said the same thing. We can’t all be blind and biased FFS.

However in saying that I’d never be so stupid or evil to boo him under any circumstances. I’m not happy about it and think that he is not ready and may never will be but it is not his fault. It’s his fathers bias and nepotism. That’s what I think. Whether it’s true who knows, ask Nathan Brown. I think he has an opinion on it.

I am happy for him to be in the top 30 of he is leading everyone in training and pushing the rest of the squad to do better.

If any of the other players were performing at training and at CUP level to knock JA out of the top 17 this year then I didn't see anyone.

That said for his development I don't want to see him near the 17 next season stay in cup and develop.
