Yep, it appears KE he has his kids a fair bit (think he had his son for 3 weeks or so during the last off season in Jan) however it appears BA lets him have his kids at training, so he obviously made adjustments to KE individual circumstances (other examples includes Semi regular trips to Fiji, Scott having extended leave last year / this year during the offseason etc)

Having a coach that does that makes a massive difference to the players "buying in" to the culture/team he is trying to build!!

If we look at the two teams since 1982 (Canberra's inclusion into the comp), both teams have won 3 Premierships. Parramatta has won more minor Premierships but they have also won more spoons.
Raiders had a great period of success in the late 80's- early 90's, but have been very inconsistent since then.
Parra had great success in the early-mid 80's, but then also had another in the late 90's-mid 2000's.
Parra have played in more Preliminary Finals.

I could go through the actual stats, but I can't be bothered and am only going from memory.
But over that time period it seems that Parra have been slightly more successful.

Surely you can't just look at both clubs history in the time that both of them have been around. That's like just comparing the who's been a bigger looser out of Parra and the Titans and considering that Parra's entire history is only since the Titans have been in the comp. What sort of story does that tell?

Why don't you consider the history of Parra from 1947 to 1982?

Or why not compare both club history for the first 35 years of their existence?
