* Is currently on a 18 month community corrections order by the crown which could result in full time custody if breached. The bloke was charged, convicted, fined and suspended from his job.
Is that not being held accountable?

Thats being held accountable by the Courts and club?
This excessive alcohol consumption brings out the absolute worst in so many people.
I think the nrl should consider introducing limits for players when they are out and about at least.
3 to 4 schooners max.
Prior offenders 1-2 max beyond the curtalige

No other country i have come across enforces strict RSA laws like we do.
In Europe, USA, Canada, UK you can be so blind and pissed and get in anywhere and be served at the bar. As long as your abusive or vomiting they dont give a shit.
I assume Asia is the same.
Here in Australia the moment you show any sort of intoxication you are no longer served or asked to leave.
Yep that was sort of what i was trying to say.Depends where you are or who you’re with.
Getting blind drunk at one establishment isn’t that hard. They will mostly keep serving you drinks at the bar in most places in Sydney.
Getting into an establishment after only having even a couple of drinks is damn near impossible though. Bouncers make it hard to go pub crawling.
Yep that was sort of what i was trying to say.
Overseas its just open slather. Its like as an Aussie overseas the chain is off and go for your life with the freedom you will get let in anywhere.
In Eastern Europe they even do pub-crawl tours at night to jump on and go from bar to clubs throughout the city. They go around promoting it to the tourists.
Haha yeah no chance. In London I took my pint from one pub into another. Imagine trying to do that here.
Well the players already have old mate with them, with the words “ nrl contract” tattooed on his hairy back.
That would be so hard to enforce.
Tracking mobile phones, breathalyser, a.i applications, wrist or legband technology, impossible I would imagine
Tracking mobile phones, breathalyser, a.i applications, wrist or legband technology,
Random units of NRL compliance units the players contract to submit to when they sign on.
“The NRL spirit means there’s a limit”
I was just speculating that the tech and rules could provide for some kind of disturbing monitoring regime.nanny state will never happen in the NRL to that extent

You don’t want to abide by the company rules, don’t play NRL. That’s what they may argue.
Such a policy would help the NRL against criticisms that it’s players are too naughty.
They can say they are “ doing more than any other professional sport
In the world to curb violence”
I agree, we could have another “war”!Man the RLPA would have a field day if the NRL tried to enforce this, logos would be covered up everywhere!!!!!
I think it’s just because you can’t hold your boozeAustralia is the most policed country when it comes to responsible service of Alcohol.
