I have been trying to work out who this is.

1. It's a hooker, because they wore shin pads back then.
2. It's at the SCG.
3. St George are sponsored by Penfolds and that sponsorship started in 1977.
4. Famous Grouse sponsored the Eels from 1977 to 1980.

Parra played STG 3 times in the finals in 1977. Ron Hilditch was 12 in each game, but I don't think it really looks like him.

In 1979 we played STG in semi final and Kevin Webb was 12. Webb only played a handful of games in first grade.

is that Slippery Morris in the background ?

Not Morris in the background.
Parra player MAY be Tim Logue who played Hooker for Hilditch for 2 or 3 games in '78.

EDIT: Logue didnt play at the SCG v St George, but he did play them at Leichhardt in the Amco Cup QF in '78.

For what it's worth, my first thought was that it does look like Hilditch.
