Yeah I remember being at the SCG for a game v the Dragons and he was a late scratching in that game, like very late. I vaguely recall some story about him having slipped over in the dressing sheds before the game and injuring himself... Always thought it was suss. When was the last time we won a case the judiciary.

Probably Jarryd Hayne in 2010 when he headbutted Slater and he had to go to fight it to play for NSW.

I said the other day, with no hand between the legs as part of the lifting action, it wasnt the worst it could be and they definitely come down harder when there is a hand between the legs. Grade 3 was a bit severe IMHO so hopefully a downgrade is successful.

I thought it was very close to send off for mine, and 4 weeks was kind. We never win at the judiciary (except those rare times we do!) but I see nothing more than Kelma now extending his break until we play the panthers in August

Well I thought it was f**king atrocious and deserved a sendoff.

It was very close to causing a catastrophic neck injury, however there are grades to these lifting charges and in the scheme of things there was no hand between the kegs and the player landed on his back.

Cleary got 5 weeks for this. It’s worth a shot to go for 3 weeks.
