seems to be all the media has been able to do all year!

Look at what happened in the lead up to Saturday, and the players unavailable.
We have those players in and we win the game.
If the ref doesn’t suck up to C. Smith last weekend we win that as well.

BA isn’t the guy out there dropping the ball in the first set, forcing an offload, or shooting out of the line to miss a tackle.
BA is in charge of getting the boys up for the game, I would say he did a mighty fine job of this on Saturday night! Especially after the Jennings crap!
He has coached 4 players to the origin arena this year, all 4 players when they got to BA weren’t near the origin arena.
The guy can coach, and has blue and gold blood!
It about time we start looking at some individual players and they need a look in the mirror... Moses, Sivo, Waqa (though was better on Saturday, but needs To work on D) Evans (thanks f**k he is gone) and id even say Lane to a degree I think he can get lazy and has a dumb forced mistake in him

Agree and truth be told it was a horrible bench selection for the semi. Stone is way over rated. Kaufusi should have been in there.
The bench rotation throughout the season has been puzzling. Plus our most effective player off the bench marata was suspended.
We lose so much when Jnr, RCG and NRown are off at the same time.
Having Kaufusi, Nuikore and Lane (as reported/predicted) come off the bench nxt yr is so much better than what picked Sat night.
Hopefully we get this 2nd rower that's been rumored and now the talk is playing Guth at centre nxt yr as well. I can only see this happening if we are signing an absolute gun of a fullback...maybe Ado Carr? I'd pay him the $$$ but $900k..
I reckon he would be a sensation at fullback..attack and defensively

Be honest, did you feel like we were going to win the premiership at the start of the season? I think most fans got suckered in by the media in the first 10 rounds.

For and against gives the best indication of team quality and ours was sixth best. Right where I predicted us to finish. Third place meant we overachieved. Pissy merkins are blaming the coach because they got their hopes up after we ambushed a few teams early in the year.

What occasion? We lost a winger in the first ten minutes against Melbourne. Against Souths we were lost Mennings on game day and Takairangi was exploited all through the second half.

Don't forget we may also be without mennings so we will need another quality player at centre.
The great coaches have always said get the good players to the club and we will fit them in.
Its the blinkered approach of saying nah we dont want him/ said player(s) which has let us down..We need x factor players and right now we either dont have them or they aren't delivering..Guth's a team player. If its best for the team he plays 1, 2,3,4,5 or 6 i don't care if u get a gun player to add to our side and stregthens our side..also there doesn't appear any good centres available at the moment

Didn’t know Bennett knew what was going on at our club...
I’d argue we looked pretty fresh and up the last two weeks, exactly how I thought we would be after a few down weeks to freshen up.
I’ll say it again we don’t lose the injuries during the storm game we win that, and beat souths with the players that were out

Sorry the Storm game's scoreline flattered us. They were killing us. Making breaks at will. We were lucky not to lose that game by 50.
No doubt losing Fergo and Sivo was tough but they were carving us before and after those 2 went off..

Gutho is now one of the top 3 fullbacks in the game for mine, you definitely don’t change him.
Ado Carr wouldn’t be anywhere near the skill level Gutho is at fullback.
You could perhaps train ado Carr as a Centre and use his speed as a way of getting on the outside of his defender.
But you’re not changing Gutho.
He was our leader for try assists, he was everywhere in attack and D.

I think you’re underestimating the importance Gutho has on our team and apart from Teddy and probably a fully fit Turbo, no one would have the same impact at the back for us. And we would then lose a hell of a lot of attacking spark if he moved to Centre
