He was our leader for try assists, he was everywhere in attack and D.

I think you’re underestimating the importance Gutho has on our team and apart from Teddy and probably a fully fit Turbo, no one would have the same impact at the back for us. And we would then lose a hell of a lot of attacking spark if he moved to Centre

I'm all about getting quality across the park. Yes Guth has been our best back and his energy, commitment, dedication and TA tally proves that. Go back last year and Moses was killing it TA's. Our halves need to do that next year.
Guth is the heart and soul of the team. I'm not disputing that. I'd say top 5 or 6 fullbacks not top 3.
You have Teddy, Turbo, RTS, CNK and Papenhuysen..
Anyway if we can get a gun fullback then im all for it. Its only a hypothetical so may never eventuate but certainly wouldn't be against it.

Yep. Gutho to centre is one of the more ridiculous suggestions I have seen on here. He’s only being picked their in Origin because his form warrants being chosen somewhere.

He is a great fullback. Imagine how good he will be at the back if our 6 and 7 play more direct. He’s had to create most of our chances this year, along with Paulo.

The only other position I’d consider him in is at 6.

Yet your original post declared Ado Carr a more superior fullback to Gutho??
He isn’t even in the same league as Gutho
I wouldn’t have CNK, Pap or RTS infront of Gutho at parra.

Yes and we didn't have to put a 2nd rower there.
Could have just as easily played Will Smith on the wing. Too many positional changes to cover the loss.
It was perplexing moving Jennings from left centre to right centre and Waqa to the wing...
Anyways everyone's entitled to their own opinion and yes we were fkd hard with injuries and suspensions at the wrong time of the year. I honestly don't believe we were ever goinv to win the game against the Storm. The soufs game different story..
Cook should have been binned and Moses shouldn't have missed the goal. Players shouldn't have taken for granted he would get the goal and be back towards halfway...dumb footy

No it didnt..re-read it..i said a gun of a fullback..and i said maybe looking at Ado Carr.
Anyways Ado Carr has played countless times for NSW and Australia. He is absolute quality...i'd do whatever it takes to fit him in

Wing and fullback are completely different positions!

Im a massive fan of Gutho. Cant wait to watch him and Jnr in SOO. That said. A major part of a fullbacks role is to organise the defence. Given us being exposed and out numbered often I wonder how good he was at that aspect? Just a thought.
