At the risk of being accussed of being a BA apologist (which FTR I am not - I would happily have Jake not picked in FG if there was a viable option and I would not be extending BA's contract unless there was a viable option or we won at least one of the 2 GF's available during the remainder of his contract), I am interested in how you have determined that Jake is "not even close" physically to the rigours of first grade. From what I have witnessed, he hasn't been caught missing due to fatigue or hasn't arm-grabbed in defence due to laziness. Keen to understand where this assessment comes from.

Obviously you are not referring to his skillset as you explicitly mention that as a debatable issue.

Agree he doesnt have a typical halves or forward's body and is already too 'heavy' for an outside back. Besides, he doesn't have the speed for an outside back.
Being only 19 he has some growing to still do, so will be interesting to see how his body shape and size finishes. Could easily end up with a Yeo/Radley/Crichton type body structure and might not be out of place in the 13 jersey in a few years.

Agreed for this site in general because we are 90% talking footy, but I don't think I agree that social media sites like tweeter should be all that moderated other then criminal type comments being that it is a world wide town square type of forum that ALL opinions should be heard whether we like them or how rude they get.

Sites like Twitter are very political and if you start to censor them then we as people in all the world lose out and the powers that be win the voice and what is heard argument.

If you don't like it stay away, but censorship of the town square leads to war and oppression. How many examples of that do we all need throughout history to get that? Social media sites should be free for the atomised punter who previously never had a platform to have his or her say, that may differ from the official and mainstream narrative, warts and all.

if we lose Gutho, russel to fullback, waqa to wing and oppa slots in

if we lose a half, Gutho to half and see above for the rest.

yet we chose an average rookie on the bench and moved our 5/8 to centre. They also trained this way in the off season.

They are equally disruptive unless there's an injury exactly at centre (for Opacic) or half (for Arthur). Both require a reshuffle. So for a bench spot that won't be used unless there's an injury it is good management to use the spot on a youngster who will benefit from the experience. Opacic is at his ceiling. It's almost insulting to sit him on the bench for 80 minutes.

I don’t get why you are vigorously slaming this rumour as crap, when Foran, Drinkwater and Arthur all would have a desire to change clubs.

Foran is beling forced into bench hooker because of Schuster, Drinkwater is being challenged by the Hammer and Arthur just needs to get out of the club for his own sanity. They are all mananged by Orr and he knows that Storm won’t release Munster early without a trade.
