Eels in the media

There is never anything fair and balanced about Roar articles. New media is even worse than traditional media for editorialising. They might as well be posting on LU.

Mike Wood reckons he's always the smartest person in the room. He has put questions to coaches in press conferences and been shut down pretty quickly. He has the unwarranted smugness of andrew voss and half the intelligence.

Yep, he's just there to affirm his whinging readership with bullshit, drama and scapegoats. Classic rugby league media.

Well he is a pommy.

What did he do to Paul Kent last year that made PK shirt-front him at the season launch this season.

Apprantley Kent took wood out the back and they started giving it to each other verbally.

Taylan May is the one... if I'm MON I watch the first 4 weeks of the comp to ensure he has come back okay from his ACL and I'm on the phone to his manager and getting him signed before he goes and scores 20+ tries for the season. Can play wing or centre.

I think Penrith will need to make a decision between him and Turuva who they keep and it will be hard for them to say no to Turuva after winning rookie of the year.

I honestly think May has more upside.
What would happen is we wait, he kills it in the first 4 weeks and his price doubles

Parramatta Eels launch 2024 jerseys with Macron

The home jersey represents a fresh design evolution of the 2022-2023 kit. The four stripes, a design element that first appeared at Cumberland Oval in 1975, is the feature of the reimagined centre piece. Those four stripes saw the club reach the pinnacle of the NRL displayed on the chest of legends who claimed four premierships throughout the 1980s.

Since then, the stripes have been a consistent theme across many iterations of the Parramatta Eels jersey. In 2024, the stripes have been modernised and the blue features a transient fade with subtle and unique graphical elements.

A diverse range of locations within the Parramatta Eels community were visited to capture the jersey for this reveal. The exponential growth in the heart of the city is captured in Parramatta Square. Parklea Markets, a hub of community where people from across the West congregate to shop and share food and Cabramatta, a cultural epicentre make up just a few of the unique and special areas which the Parramatta Eels are proud to represent.

Nice T-shirts. When do we actually release the design of the playing jerseys?

no idea mate, but I don't like the fact that we've lost our identity as we've always been blue and gold
100% agree.

Its our identity no one can tell me otherwise.

Blue & Gold and we always fold.

Have they asked the fans what they want.

I barely see a white Parra jersey at commbank stadium home games anyway.
