Yes, you can never have too many Bevan French “the one that got away” articles.

I think Bevan was given every opportunity.I don't necessarily disagree with the sentiment - perhaps some more astute coaching from Brad could have unlocked Bevan's potential at the Eels.
But, it wasn't to be.

Again, when shown up to be posting trolling nonsense, or making a low call about the deceased in another thread, resorts to playing the man... in typical circular fashion
Keep on squeezing PouPou Escobar - you might eventually push it out!

Poor Bevan just needed some super cool moves, Bea was saving them up for season 12 apparently. We didn’t get to see them. Poor BA.I don't necessarily disagree with the sentiment - perhaps some more astute coaching from Brad could have unlocked Bevan's potential at the Eels.

Sounds like he was a perfect fit for Parra circa 2019-2023!!He shines in a competition where defence is an afterthought.
There was one game with him on the wing when he didn't chase a run away try. Forwards did, but he was hands on hips. I think that was about his last game first grade ever. He lost the stadium that day.Bevan's effort more then anything let him down.
He seemed like he spat the dummy once Gutho got the fullback spot back in 2018 and his efforts that season were deplorable.
French as a finisher was outstanding similar to Sivo.
But doing the hard yards he lacked penetration and effort.
I recall a game in Canberra he ran the ball once all game. How do you run the ball once in 80 mins as a winger.
Yes I do recall he gave up on a chase and allowed a try scorer to improve the position. There was one game with him on the wing when he didn't chase a run away try. Forwards did, but he was hands on hips. I think that was about his last game first grade ever. He lost the stadium that day.
You do it when the coach refuses to talk to you maybe. A sook probably, a wasted talent definitely.Bevan's effort more then anything let him down.

Lucky Mitch started doing his own thing in the 6 seasons following it?BAs head games forced French out....
Let's not forget that he almost pushed Moses out also after the 2018 season cause he was clashing with the supercoach over his coaching style.....right now we could be ruing the fact we let go of both French and Moses, the international kangaroos half back....
BA was an egotistical dope of epic proportions
Generational talents don’t play in the UK any longer than they have to.Yes, you can never have too many Bevan French “the one that got away” articles.

As you have gone down the path of suggesting it was the coach’s fault, I will drop out here. Cos it’s bound to blow up into a 5 day brawl.
