One of the most iconic moments of the last few years and he's got NFI
Like I said, 'iconic moments' tell us little about a player. They are shiny objects to sell advertising and stick in dopes memories.

Crazy how Mitch Moses is no longer a downhill skiier after two Origin games behind a dominant pack. Iconic moments ffs

Judging a player on one game is worth even less than judging him on half a season. Anyone can have their worst game at any time. Or their best.

I think Price should be in immortal considerations, there weren't many others like him at all in his position and role, let alone in his class including rep level.

I love Cronin, but given Meninga got the nod I can't see them putting in another centre from a similar/overlapping era.

I really love Sterling and think he deserves it - but also can't see them putting in many halfbacks in older eras now. Same probably applies to Kenny, as there was too much competition for their rep positions back in the day - Mortimer and Lewis, although I'll always rate our two higher.

Price, definitely. Kenny, probably. Cronin, close. But if Meninga can be an immortal, I guess anyone can.

Imo, there are two certainties:

Price, and Kenny.

Then, two players should be pretty close to Immortal status:

Sterling, and Cronin.

How neither Price, nor Kenny, are in the conversation, is beyond me.

Kenny was certainly in the conversation last time
