that's him, blokes like him, Jirah, Cini, Hollis and Rodwell should be on their knees thanking us for giving them a full time salary.

Seems like Ryles is more invested in the 22 - 30 player part of the roster than BA was. Hopefully we have a nsw cup team that can keep some of the first graders on their toes

Your a bit harsh putting Hollis in that lot.

A few circumstances he got unlucky with covid & injuries at the wrong time.

His a good kid who has done very well for himself considering his football career didnt pan out.

Not sure what the other 3 are doing but they wouldn't be killing it like Dave is off the park now with the strong work ethic he had which i reckon comes from his hard working country background.

I'm certainly not questioning his character, he might be the loveliest and most hard working young man going around but he was overated imo by our coaching and development staff,

Sounds like you know him well. Is his mother's name Tanya? Or Patricia? or is his father's name Sean? If so, I know his grandfather and uncles quite well.

Not sure what his parents names are.

But yes I know him well from when he did his diesel mechanic apprenticeship here in Sydney while he was playing for Parramatta.

The parents farm got wiped out by the floods on the north coast in 2021 up there in Wauchope.

His a good kid it's a shame he didn't make it but happy he is doing well now. Got his own diesel mechanic business up there in Wauchope and north coast now.

So he is killing it.

Yes its a by product of BA wanting mature bodies to play his crash and bash game. Development stalled and youngsters would be scapegoat and victims of selection policies.

He also ensured he had the senior players in his back pocket so whenever there were any calls he lost the dressing room.

Some were happy to die for the bloke.

The club aren't probably going to really care what players 22-30 really think about the coach when there just in essence disgruntled useless backups.

I think that lack of competition and dynamism in the squad was BAs downfall by the end

If they're not all needed in first grade like they were in the last two years. Here's the reserve graders who played 10+ NRL games in the past two years:

2024
Asi (14 games)
Makatoa (10 games)
Moretti (11 games)
Talagi (20 games)

2023
Asi (10 games)
Doorey (11 games)
Greig (17 games)
Hands (19 games)
Makatoa (17 games)
Moretti (11 games)
