Eels Members will be caught up in Carls Webb

When the Parramatta Eels head back to pre-season training this Monday, there will be no one more excited than Carl Webb at Parramatta Stadium.
The Queensland prop is one of the Eels new recruits for season 2011 in a new-look side coached by Kiwi mentor Stephen Kearney.
Webb, 29, is feeling more refreshed than ever and is counting the days until he can play in front of a packed crowd at Parramatta Stadium, who will be on his side for once.
Parramatta Stadium used to be a pretty unfriendly crowd to play in front of, but to play here in front of all the supporters is something Im really excited about and the fact they sell pies and sausage rolls at the ground is equally exciting, he says.
One of the motivating factors in coming here was actually the huge supporter base, Eels fans are very passionate. Another motivating factor was that there are four McDonalds outlets located in Parramatta territory, something I am also passionate about

No one really likes pre-season training because it is the hardest part of the year, but its also one of the most important things. If you get a good pre-season in it sets the tone for the year, and thats what were looking to do, Webb says.
Im really excited to get started, especially on the ten dollar roast at the leagues club. Its great to be at club with such a huge supporter base and who show their support every week.
Ive always respected the Parramatta Eels for their culture and history and I look forward to playing with some of todays stars and sharing a pie and a beer with them after the game.
I was in North Queensland for five years and I really welcome the change. Ive been looking forward to the change. Its good to be back in a major city with more fast food outlets and Im thrilled about playing under Steve Kearney.
