If only we had the resources to recruit and develop players like super wealthy clubs such as Canberra, Bulldogs, Penrith or Cronulla....possibly even St George, Souths, Manly and Newcastle

they all have better development plans in place than we do.

But it is pointless arguing, we have already been told that we don't have the resources to develop like all these rich and powerful clubs do and as Parra fans we should just know our ignorant place and be grateful for our lot.
WTF are you on about, we've developed heaps of players, and we have the best crop of 19 and 20 year olds in the NRL. Two blokes in this week's 17 are still eligible for SG Ball you f**king clown. What were you saying about ignorant?

I remember it being the case, and the stats support it.
😂 Whenever someone else remembers something it isn't enough for you.
Mahoney played 60 minutes off the bench, and Terepo played 44 minutes but only threw two passes in that time. Gutherson's pass-to-run ratio was much higher than usual that year.
That year? We're talking about one specific game, you clown...

Maybe if during the 3P era we had kept Matt Cameron, we wouldn't be in this mess.

Who knows?
I see this sort of thing as more a symptom than a causal factor. Is it coincidence that he went to Penrith after they got their cash infusion from Packer? He was balls deep in our pathways success. He wasn't some nobody we didn't want to keep.

Maguire appears to have produced the best first half of football in origin history.

The word “dominant” simply cannot do it justice.

I salute Madge and everything he stands for. He’s an enigma.

God bless our beloved nsw state of chaos.

Here is a poem to cheer up our friends from Queensland.

“Queenslander” they bellow
Two headed merkins all
Dirty Billy Slater
With knee, elbow and more.

Theyll get their big come-uppance
In 2024
Pussy cats tonighteth
Missed tackles and no balls.

Where’s Natey Miles these days
And his loathsome Queensland wit
It was funny at the time no doubt
Now hes sore where he doth sit!

Difference was , he supported the forwards with athletic , speedy backs so that once there was open space created by the fwds, they could take advantage. Not the case at the Eels unfortunately, despite fwds and halves being handy, the backs were too slow and had no depth.
Unlike the Dolphins, we spent big on our halves. You can't have stars across the field. Even the Panthers have a cheap Origin failure at 7. It lets them spend more elsewhere.
