70 year old, hasn't coached in 8 years, with hit and miss results over the years, probably not what Eels were thinking when they sacked Brad Arthur but he was good back in the day but odd decision out of the blue imo.

Josh Hannay has being in and out of origin camp with Qld, and having interviews for the Eels job, pretty much coincides with the drop in performance we're currently seeing. Is his mind on the job? Is it a distraction for the squad? Thoughts?

How much weight do we think Hornby's interim rein will hold when jobs pop up in the coming years? If Rabbits win the games we think they will he'll end up with a 11-6 record (65%).

Hannay is in the mix here with 2 losing interim rein's .

I think Souths have a better roster & talent then what Hannay coached at Cronulla.

Latrell, Wighton, Cam Murray are some pretty good players to be coaching

Honestly feel like our stupid “coach appointment committee” are a brains trust of the biggest numpty muppets in NRL administration.

fancy putting O’Neill, Sarantinos & McDuffty into a room and expecting a positive outcome to come from it.

My guess is the board decided accepted whatever the committee suggested on Tuesday, but then they have tried to low ball the coach and he’s told them f**k off, meanwhile the other coaches who were knocked back have told them where to go and won’t re-enter the fray.

With who applied I would have went Justin Holbrook, didn't go great at the Titans but with a good roster which Parramatta will have it'd be interesting how'd they go.

Holbrook never applied. He would have been a terrific appointment but was happier staying assistant at the roosters than coming to our rabble
